Pat Sabatini is the definition of a submission specialist. All but one of his victory finishes is by way of submission. Pat has seven of his submission finishes coming in the very first round and is a veteran of the Cage Fury FC promotion where he has fought very good competition for the majority of his professional fighting career.
While the rear naked choke looks like Pat’s most dangerous technique with the majority of his submissions coming by way of it, Pat also has a couple of submission wins by heel hook. Look for Pat to get the fight to the ground as early as possible in his first fight in the UFC so he can work toward submissions.
