If one thing was learned from ONE on TNT II, it’s that Christian Lee is the real deal.
The second outing on TNT for ONE Championship, ONE on TNT II was not live, and that’s perhaps the biggest shame of all. Because in the main event of the previously recorded show, Christian Lee made short work of lightweight title challenger Timofey Nastyukhin.
Lee, brother of fellow ONE Championship stars Angela Lee (atomweight champion) and Victoria Lee (teenage prodigy) has turned into a true star for the promotion. He not only holds lightweight gold, but stepped in on short notice to save, and win, the division’s grand prix.
In a first round TKO of Nastyukhin, he stopped a title challenger that may not be a household name exactly, but who had derailed former UFC champ Eddie Alvarez’s ONE debut in vicious fashion.
