Chase Sherman Interview (2:38)

On this week’s episode, we start with an interview with UFC Vegas 24’s Chase Sherman. After being cut from the UFC, Sherman came storming back via a few wins at Island Fights and a championship run in Bare Knuckle Boxing. But while that all sounded great, he delves into what a dark time that was for him and how he and his family struggled through the time. From that, he found how to have fun again and how to trust his hands, which paid off with a big finish in his welcome back fight. He also shared how embracing that fun side has changed his whole outlook on fighting.

Fights, Dogs, and Parlays: UFC Vegas 23 (22:46)

The main event changed for this upcoming UFC card, but you know we didn’t. TTP is again back at it with the all the knowledge you need to make you wallet fat this weekend. The path may seem bleak for Holland in the main event, but Gumby is all over some other dogs on this card. He’ll share those for you as well as a parlay he thinks can’t miss. You don’t want to miss this advice unless you hate money.

Parker Porter Interview (38:33)

The road to the Octagon was not a short one for Northeast-legend Parker Porter. He made his debut in a sketchy club 14 years ago and only just made his UFC debut this past year. The long path includes a run in with Jon Jones and Gabriel Gonzaga, a loss to Chris Daukaus in his debut, and some weirdly long layoffs. However, Porter talks to Gumby about how he wouldn’t change his path. He feels confident that the work he did got him to the dance. He shares more about that journey and, of course, some thoughts on his fight with Chase Sherman. Unfortunately, Porter had to withdraw from this one in the end.
