Another day, another fight dropping off a UFC card. This time out, it’s UFC Vegas 20, which lost a bout during weigh-in.
Ramazan Kuramagomedov was expected to make his promotional debut at the event, dropping to welterweight against Alex Oliveira. However, after falling ill, the Russian has, along with his opponent, has been removed from the card.

Kuramagomedov (8-0) was replacing Randy Brown on short notice against Brazil’s “Cowboy.” That, despite many of his earlier fights coming in the middleweight division. For his part, Oliveira (22-9-1, 2NC) was looking to bounce back from a loss to Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 254 in October.
UFC Vegas 20, which is headlined by heavyweights Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane, is set to take place Saturday, February 27 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The event is expected to move forward with the following ten fights.
