Angela Hill likes to stay busy, so why not throw down on short notice… next weekend.
During Saturday’s UFC Vegas 19 broadcast, UFC officials announced that strawweight Hill will face Ashley Yoder at UFC Vegas 20. The card takes place next Saturday, February 27 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. A heavyweight scrap between Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Giryl Gane tops the bill.
Hill (12-9) has become known as one of the promotion’s busiest fighters. She holds the record, at 337 days, for having six fights in the shortest period of time. After going 2-2 in 2020, Hill will look to start this year by snapping a two-fight skid that saw her suffer losses to Claudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson.
Yoder (8-6) last competed in November, when she snapped a two-fight skid by defeating Miranda Granger by unanimous decision.
Hill and Yoder have fought once before: the pair originally met in 2017, at The Ultimate Fighter 25 finale. Hill won the bout by unanimous decision.
