UFC 258 is official.
All fighters for this Saturday’s card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada made weight on Friday. The only scare, in fact, came early, as welterweight champion and headliner Kamaru Usman hit the scales, only to come in at 170.5lbs — a half pound over championship weight. However, after removing a rather heavy duty respirator, Usman hit the 170lb mark without issue. Opponent Gilbert Burns hit 170 as well later in the window, meaning their title fight is a go.
With no mishaps, the full event moves forward.
