ONE Championship’s Unbreakable III, which aired this past Friday, saw the return of multi-sport champion and top prospect Stamp Fairtex to MMA.
It did not, frankly, go as she had planned. Fairtex found herself submitted in the third round of her main event fight with Alyona Rassohyna. For Thailand’s Fairtex, it was the first loss of her MMA career. Alyona Rassohyna, meanwhile, managed to tap out Fairtex for the biggest win of her career, improving to 13-4 in the process. Making her promotional debut in the bout, Rassohyna is now sitting on a three-fight win streak. The Ukrainian fighter has not lost since a 2014 bout with former ROAD FC champ and UFC fighter Seo Hee Ham. Which could set up some big match-ups for her under the ONE Championship banner.
