Eryk Anders and Darren Stewart throw down March 13
Anders (14-5), a former college linebacker and Canadian Football League player, will look to bounce back into the win column in the fight. Opposite to him, Stewart (12-6) an extremely durable middleweight with a high ceiling. He’ll be looking to bounce back as well, however, after coming up short against the streaking Kevin Holland recently.
While the English-born fighter struggled with the length of Holland, he definitely put up a valiant effort. Stewart’s well-rounded game gave Holland all he could handle, and he was the only fighter to go the distance with Holland in 2020. The bout ended in a split decision.
Anders has shown flashes of brilliance inside the cage since joining the UFC in (13-5). Particularly, his ability to wrestle is outstanding and often catches opponents by surprise. Not only that, but since growing inside the UFC the former football player has had to re-learn how to move his feet and developed a striking game in a very short amount of time.
