Pearce has fought at as low of a weight class as 135lbs back in early 2017, outside of the UFC. A pretty amazing feat for a man that stands at 6’0″ tall with a 71.5″ reach.
Jonathan missed weight outside of the UFC later on in 2017 coming in at 156.5lbs. for a lightweight fight at Bellator MMA Fight Series: Talladega. Jonathan’s six most recent fights have been at or above 150lbs. and the last time he cut weight below that was for his fight at bantamweight in 2017.
For his second UFC fight, after being finished in his debut at lightweight by Joe Lauzon, JSP will be moving back down to the featherweight division at UFC Vegas 15 for the first time since 2016. Pearce is now 28 years old.
