The penultimate UFC PPV of 2020 goes down Saturday, with two flyweight title fights atop the card. UFC 255 features Deiveson Figueiredo making the first defense of his 125lb title. In what was originally supposed to be something of a super-fight against Cody Garbrandt, the Brazilian champion instead faces Alex Perez.
In the co-main event of the evening, women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko puts her belt on the line against Jennifer Maia.
Also featured: Mike Perry and Tim Means in a welterweight match-up promising violence, and a rematch between the legendary Shogun Rua and Paul Craig.
The official weigh-in for the PPV show goes down Friday, starting at 12PM ET. Check below for full results.
No misses on the scales on Friday save one — Mike Perry missed weight by a large margin for his welterweight fight against Tim Means. Still, the card is a go!
Perry, meanwhile, spoke about his weight struggles on social media prior to the weigh-in.
I have always talked trash during weight cuts so that if I couldn’t make it I could say I told y’all I wasn’t sure. Maybe I’ve outgrown this. I did try to ask for a fight at 185 but maybe I just don’t have it anymore. I’m so thankful to all the kind people at the @ufc 🙏🏻
