Rhys McKee had the misfortune of making his UFC debut against Khamzat Chimaev earlier this year in July and the rest is history. Despite a disappointing first showing in the octagon McKee has a lot of potential, boasts a 100% win finishing rate, and is only 25 years old. As one would expect, beginning his professional MMA career at 20 years old, McKee didn’t fight the greatest level of competition till a few fights into his career.
But with seven first-round finishes including the majority of them by KO/TKO it’s undeniable that Rhys has the ability to end the fight in a hurry. At 6’2″ and with his 78″ reach in the welterweight division, McKee is often a mismatch for opponents as he has a great jab, fights using his reach and has a high volume muay thai striking style.
