Jinh Yu Frey was unsuccessful in her UFC debut against Kay Hansen, a former flyweight, that looked a lot bigger than Frey in the cage. Jinh was submitted in the third round by triangle armbar after fighting hard, in her first-ever professional bout at 115lbs.
Frey has been one of the best women in the sport at 105lbs, especially while as champion in the Invicta FC promotion. She did miss weight in her final fight to date in that division, however. Now a strawweight, Frey is 35 years old and will look to use her 5’3″, 65″ reach frame in order to get into the win column on October 3.
