In what seems like a rarity during pandemic era MMA, all fighters scheduled for the UFC Vegas 11 card made weight for the event Friday morning. Main event players Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington hit the scales relatively early, and after that, it was a more-or-less orderly affair. Which is great news for Saturday’s card, frankly quite the stacked Fight Night event.
In addition to Covington vs. Woodley, UFC Vegas 11 boasts Donald Cerrone vs. Niko Price, Johnny Walker vs. Ryan Spann, and surging newcomer Khamzat Chimaev vs. Gerald Meerschaert.
That’s a heck of a strong line-up for an ESPN+ event, which doesn’t even touch on a deep preliminary card.
