Strawweight action has been added to the UFC’s November 14 card, as Ashley Yoder is set to take on Miranda Granger. It’s a fight that will see both women looking to get back in the win column.
MMA Fighting was first to report the news. Granger had recently teased that she had a fight coming up.
Yoder (7-6) last fought just a few weeks ago as part of the UFC 252 card in Las Vegas, topped by the heavyweight trilogy fight between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier. Yoder came up short against Livia Renata Souza that night, losing a unanimous decision. That marked her second straight loss inside the octagon, after dropping a split decision to Randa Markos at UFC Singapore last October.
Overall, Yoder is 2-5 in the UFC, and started her career in the promotion at 0-3 before picking up wins over Amanda Cooper and Syuri Kondo.
Miranda Granger (7-1) is in something of a better spot, with only one loss as a pro. That came in her most recent bout, as Granger’s perfect record was marred by a submission loss to Amanda Lemos back in December.
The UFC’s November 14 card does not have a location or title/designation officially announced as of yet. The leading candidate to house the card, however, appears to be the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
