ONE Championship’s third pandemic era card, No Surrender III, aired Friday, and featured a bantamweight tournament semi-final as its main event. That saw Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai advancing to the tournament final, which is set to go down this week. Uthai will face Rodlek PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym at A New Breed on August 28, with the winner getting a shot an the bantamweight Muay Thai title.
In MMA action, Shannon Wiratchai, a longtime ONE Championship veteran, got back in the win column when he won a split decision against Fabio Pinca. Wiratchai (10-6, 1NC) got his start back in the promotion in 2012. The 31-year old snapped a four-fight skid with the win.
