With Bellator 242 just around the corner, the fighters from Friday’s card made one last appearance. In a ceremonial weigh-in without fans present, the full roster of fighters for the event hit the “scales” for what amounted to a final photo op.
The actual weigh-in took place Friday morning, with all but one fighter making weight. That was Jay Jay Wilson, whose fight with Tywan Claxton will move forward. Wilson, however, will be a little lighter in the pocketbook after coming in heavy on the scale. He’ll cough up 20% of his purse, after weighing in (on the second attempt) at 147.9lbs.
