Aaron Pico leads the list of official additions to Bellator’s return on July 24 as the full fight card has been announced.
Bellator has announced their full lineup for their return next Friday, July 24, in what will be their first event in over four months since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. The card is set to be headlined by a bantamweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Ricky Bandejas and will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.
The most notable addition to the card announced Wednesday morning is featherweight prospect Aaron Pico against Chris Hatley Jr. Pico had previously been on a two-fight losing streak before getting back in the win-column against Daniel Carey in January. Hatley is on a two-fight win streak and made his Bellator debut in February.
Other match-ups on the card will include UFC veteran Jordan Mein, who returns to action for the first time in over a year to make his Bellator debut against Jordan Jackson in the co-main event. Also, New Zealand prospect Jay Jay Wilson will look to notch the sixth victory of his undefeated career as he returns to face fellow rising star Tywan Claxton who has amassed a 6-1 record inside the Bellator cage.
