Jamie Siraj
Bantamweight | 25 | Vancouver, British Columbia | 8-2 | Win Streak: 5 | 3 KO/TKOs, 4 Submissions
Jamie Siraj is underrated, but still one of Canada’s best prospects. His last loss came to UFC fighter Cole Smith, but since then, he’s on a five-fight win streak. Siraj is well-rounded getting it done on the feet and on the mat. The Canadian won the the Unified MMA 35 bantamweight championship. Siraj trains out of one of the best camps in Tristar Gym out of Montreal.
Tafon Nchukwi
Light heavyweight | 25 | Cameroon | 3-0 | Win Streak: 6 | 3 KO/TKOs
Tafon Nchukwi is a WKA 2016 National champion, WKA 2017 national champion, and a WKA 2016 World champion. Nchukwi made waves in the MMA community when he beat UFC development deal holder William Knight last November. Knight was highly-touted, and Nchukwi finished him via strikes in round one. He’s only 3-0 but went 3-0 as an amateur and has a good team behind him at Team Lloyd Irvin. It’s a guarantee that Tafon will be on the Contender Series.
Isi Fitikefu
Middleweight | 26 | New South Wales, Australia | 6-0 | Win Streak: 7 | 3 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission
As Australia is producing talent more each year, and at a higher level, Isi Fitikefu could be the next big thing out of the country. Last October he beat a good fighter in Kitt Campbell for the Eternal MMA title. That win alone should have the UFC all over him. Fitikefu is a solid wrestler who has an aggressive and relentless pace with effective chain wrestling. He has one submission win on his resume, but he relies more on his ground and pound. On the feet, Fitikefu has big power in his hands and his right hand is a loaded gun that puts opponents to sleep.
Max Rohskopf
Lightweight | 25 | New South Wales, Australia | 5-0 | Win Streak: 6 | 5 Submissions
Rohskopf grew up wrestling and would become quite good at it winning the 2016 ACC Championship at NC State. There isn’t much MMA footage on him, but he has shown some good power in his hands and obviously good wrestling. Two fights ago he took out DWCS veteran Zach Zane so he’s already proven he can fight at the next level up.
Dustin Stoltzfus
Middleweight | 28 | Lancaster, Pennsylvania, US | 12-1 | Win Streak: 9 | 1 KO/TKO, 5 Submissions
Dustin Stoltzfus is from the U.S. but has fought his entire pro career in Germany. He’s been a FFA (We Love MMA) middleweight Champion. On the feet, he’s a good counter striker with a powerful right hook. Stoltzfus is best when mixing in his striking with his wrestling as his double legs are well executed. He’s heavy when in top position and has four submissions. All four of his submissions have come via different methods including a rare twister — a move seen just twice inside the UFC’s octagon. It’s best for Stoltzfusto to get a few more fights in first before going to the UFC so the contender series makes sense.
Brandon Royval
Flyweight | 27 | Littleton, Colorado, US | 10-4 | Win Streak: 9 | 3 KO/TKOs, 6 Submissions
Brandon Royval has been flying under the radar for quite some time but it was in the last year that he put himself on the map. In 2019 he went 2-0 beating former UFC fighter Joby Sanchez, then winning the vacant LFA Flyweight Championship in his next fight. Royal is 5-1 in his last six fights, only losing to current UFC flyweight Casey Kenney. Royval started his career mainly as a grappler but a very good grappler at that. The Factory X Muay Thai product has slick Jiu-Jitsu and is very much in his realm on the mat.
Cheyanne Buys
Strawweight | 24 | Dallas, Texas, US | 4-1 | Win Streak: 3 | 1 KO/TKO
Cheyanne Buys has fought in the U.S., Canada, and South Africa in her last five fights. Putting the miles in, in other words. Out of Canada, she is the current BTC strawweight champion. Buys has fought for EFC, Invicta, and most recently LFA. If she continues fighting for both LFA and Invicta her path to the UFC will most definitely come this year sometime. That could be through the Contender Series.
Cole Ferrell
Collin Anglin
TJ Laramie
Featherweight | 22 | Windsor, Ontario, Canada | 11-3 | Win streak: 3 | 6 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions
Although TJ Laramie is only 22-years-old he’s well experienced and has fought good competition. In fact, Laramie has never fought anyone with a losing record. He’s the former TKO featherweight champion as he dominated Charles Jourdain who is doing very well in the UFC. Now out of his TKO contract, his last three fights have been for PFC. When the UFC goes back to Canada Laramie should be on the top of the list to sign. Laramie is a former Kickboxing and jiu-jitsu champion and utilizes a wide skillset making him an all-around solid fighter.
Adrian Yanez
Bantamweight | 26 | Houston, Texas, US | 10-3 | Win streak: 3 | 5 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions
Adrian Yanez is a good young talent who has only lost to decent fighters and is still really young. He had a fight coming up against a DWCS veteran in Ricky Turciosand, and a win over him would help his case even more. Unfortunately that fight was cancelled due to the coronavirus. Yanez only has two submissions but has some credible BJJ to give opponents issues. On the feet is where he wants to be mainly; all of his finishes have come standing. Yanez has slick boxing that includes head movement, quick hands, going body-head, and excellent placement.
Leomana Martinez
Bantamweight | 23 | Houston, Texas, US | 6-1 | Win streak: 5 | 6 KO/TKOs
Despite a split-decision loss to Dulani Perry, Leomana Martinez has looked very good. He’s a technically sound kickboxer who has some slick hands as well. “Manaboi” fights behind his leg kicks throwing them often and very hard. He has ended a fight with leg kicks but will mix it up as he holds a head kick knockout as well. Martinez hasn’t spent much time on the mat in his pro career but has three arm-bar wins as an amateur. On the feet, though he’s just so good thanks to his speed, counter ability, power, and excellent accuracy and timing. He would fit very well on the Contender Series. He had a bout scheduled for earlier this month, but that’s off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
