All but a single fighter made weight for UFC 248 on Friday, and all fights are a go!
UFC 248 has a hotly anticipated main event. Hot enough that few have bothered to question the validity of Yoel Romero getting a title off two losses. Mainly because champ Israel Adesanya seems as game as they come — and MMA fans know exactly what Romero brings to the table.
Friday, however, Romero won half the battle, making weight within the allotted two hours Friday. Emily Whitmire did not — the only fighter to come in heavy.
While the official weigh-in went down Friday morning, there was still the ceremonial weigh-in and face-off to go. Tune in come 7PM ET for the live stream of UFC 248’s ceremonial weigh-in.
