The UFC Lincoln card is quickly filling up, but it has found room for Canada’s Gavin Tucker. The east coast featherweight is set to take on Billy Quarantillo at the event. MMA Junkie was first to report news of the booking.
Quarantillo later confirmed the match-up, adding his thoughts on the pairing. “Gavin is a bad mother tucker. If I make any mistakes he can end it quick. On the other side, if you have seen me fight, you know what I’m capable of.”
Winning his way into the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series, Quarantillo (13-2) won his promotional debut last year at UFC DC, submitting Jacob Kilburn.
Tucker (11-1) will enter UFC Lincoln, meanwhile, off a win last July against South Korean Seung Woo Choi.
