Kalinn Williams wasted no time making his mark on the sport in his promotional debut at UFC 247. In just 27 seconds, Williams stopped Alex Morono.
Welterweight Kalinn Williams, or “Khaos” if you prefer, was handed a tough assignment for his promotional debut at UFC 247. A Michigan native, Williams was paired up against Alex Morono, a former Legacy FC champion who was hitting his 10th octagon appearance Saturday night in Houston.
The pair threw down on the televised preliminary card, and those curious can check out our preview of Williams’ debut. Khaos is 9-1 and has been tearing it up in WXC heading into his promotional debut. He is on a six-fight win streak, including his latest win over Bellator veteran Jeremie Holloway.
The debuting Williams took no time getting right at Morono. Williams hurt Morono early with a left hand. That shot sent Morono against the cage and Williams went for the finish. Williams landing a flurry of strikes and a key right uppercut sat Morono down. The extra shots sent the ref in for the knockout.

Williams wanted people to remember the name, and a 27-second knockout on a pay-per-view card will certainly help achieve that.
