Movsar Evloev will look the remain undefeated against Brazil’s Douglas Silva de Andrade at UFC 248.
March’s UFC 248 has added a bantamweight bout. On Wednesday, the promotion announced via social media that Russia’s Movsar Evloev will take on Douglas Silva de Andrade a the Pay Per View event.
It will be the third UFC contest of Evloev, who made his debut inside the octagon last year. Undefeated at 12-0, Evloev picked up a win against Seung Woo Choi at UFC St. Petersburg back in April. He followed that up with by defeating Enrique Barzola at UFC Singapore in October.
Both bouts ended in unanimous decision wins for the Russian, who is a former M-1 bantamweight champion.
Douglas Silva de Andrade (26-3) will enter UFC 248 off a win over former UFC 135lb champ Renan Barao. That came this past November. The win put Andrade back in the win column after a loss to Petr Yan.
UFC 248 takes place March 7, 2020 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The event is headlined by a middleweight title fight between champ Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero. The card currently features the following pairings:
