One of KSW’s all-time greats returned from retirement at KSW 52 to take on reigning middleweight champ Scott Askham.
KSW returned to action Saturday in Gliwice, Poland with KSW 52. The main event featured UFC veteran and KSW middleweight champ Scott Askham taking on Mamed Khalidov in a catchweight, non-title fight. The co-main event, meanwhile, was an Olympic showdown. Olympic gold and silver medalist Szymon Kolecki (weightlifting) faced Olympic bronze medalist Damian Janikowski (wrestling).
The card also offered an interim featherweight title fight, with interim champ Salahdine Parnasse defending his belt opposite Ivan Buchinger. Parnasse, a standout thus far for the Polish mma promotion, was getting a solid test of his already formidable skills.
