David Zawada and Magomed Ankalaev were among the big winners at UFC Moscow on Saturday, with each man taking home a Performance bonus.

Few names in mixed martial arts are as intimidating as Nurmagomedov. UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov paved the way in the UFC, and remains to this day the most imposing lightweight on the planet. Cousin Said Nurmagomedov joined Khabib in the UFC last year, and on Saturday at UFC Moscow, another member of the Nurmagomedov clan, Abubakar, entered the octagon for the first time.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov was a heavy favorite against David Zawada at UFC Moscow. One problem: no one told Zawada that. Zawada upset the debut of the Dagestani standout, securing an arm-triangle submission in the opening round. The loss left Nurmagomedov distraught, and put the little-known Zawada in the spotlight. It also earned him a Performance of the Night award.

The second Performance of the Night bonus went to Magomed Ankalaev, who knocked out Dalcha Lungiambula in the third round of their featured preliminary bout, setting up the finish with a head kick.

Fight of the Night honors at UFC Moscow went to headliners Calvin Kattar and Zabit Magomedsharipov. Kattar and ‘ZaBeast’ battled it out for three rounds, with the always-dangerous Magomedsharipov coming out on top. He’ll get another step up in the UFC’s loaded featherweight division, but Kattar didn’t lose much of his shine even in defeat.

All four fighters will take home an extra $50,000 for their work on Saturday.
