A handful of Bellator’s top prospects were in action Friday night as part of the Bellator 233 preliminary card.
Bellator 233 went down in Thackerville, Oklahoma on Friday, with a middleweight showdown between John Salter and Costello van Steenis in the main event. Elsewhere on the card, Bellator’s bumper crop of rookies, from Tyrell Fortune to Jordan Young to Logan Storley, was in action.
A number of those fights came early in the evening, part of the Bellator 233 preliminary card, airing on the Bellator App and right here on Cageside Press. Among the notables, Storley, on a new deal with the promotion, looked to keep his perfect 10-0 record intact. Christian Edwards, teammate and sparring partner of Jon Jones, continued his run, which had just started earlier in the year. And undefeated Kyle Crutchmer was making his Bellator MMA debut, against a short-notice opponent in Robert Gidron.
