With UFC 244 going down Saturday, the UFC was putting on a rare PPV event with no title on the line. Well, not exactly. While no divisional championship was up for grabs in New York City this weekend, the title of “baddest motherf*cker” was very much on the line. And the UFC had even commissioned a belt for the occasion.
Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal would clash in the main event with that belt on the line. The rest of the card, a rather deep affair, with plenty of finishes early, and statements made by Corey Anderson, Kevin Lee, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
