Comprising Team MMA were UFC Hall-of-Famers Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture, former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, and Bellator champions Ryan Bader and Ilima-Lei Macfarlane. Team Bellas was led by WWE superstars Nikki and Brie Bella, their mother Kathy Laurinaitis, their brother JJ Garcia and his wife Lauren who all feature on the Total Bellas reality show.
Team MMA had difficulty getting on the board early, struggling with the question: “Name a way you like your men and your chili.” Macfarlane answered “tasty” while Bader hilariously said “with a roll” which put strikes against the team and gave their opponents a chance to steal. However, Team Bella failed to get a correct answer and the points went to Team MMA.
The next question saw Team MMA answer “Name something you bounce on for fun.” Ryan Bader drew the praise of host Steve Harvey with the answer of “my wife” which was on the board. Unfortunately, the team failed to get enough answers and Team Bellas was able to steal the points.
Team Bellas went on to play fast money but came up ten points short of winning the $20,000.
