When all was said and done at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, two questions would be answered. One, what would the future of former women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg look like? And two, would Max Holloway continue to reign supreme over the featherweight division after failing in a bid for lightweight gold?
Cyborg, of course, was paired up against ex-Invicta FC champ Felicia Spencer at UFC 240. Holloway, meanwhile, was taking on the always impressive Frankie Edgar. It was a third shot at featherweight gold for ‘The Answer.’ For Spencer, it was the toughest test of her young career.
UFC 240 takes place Saturday night, live from the Rogers Place arena in downtown Edmonton.
