Edmonton, AB — The early weigh-in for UFC 240 went down Friday morning in Edmonton, and all fighters made weight, some more easily than others. No less than four fighters needed a towel when they hit the scales — champ Max Holloway, plus Alexandre Pantoja, Deiveson Figueiredo and Hakeem Dawodu. Dawodu weighed in last, at the very end of the two hours allotted. Figueiredo and Pantoja are actually fighting one another in a flyweight battle on the preliminary card. And Holloway, of course, is in the main event.
Yet while the weight cuts clearly were not easy, they were successful, with all fighters making weight for UFC 240.
