In the main event, reigning champion Juan Puerta faces MMA veteran Claudio Ledesma for the Titan FC flyweight championship.
Puerta (16-6), was supposed to rematch Gustavo Balart earlier this year at Titan FC 53. However, the Florida commission disqualified him moments before the bout because he failed a pre-fight drug test for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The American Top Team product is 3-0 in Titan FC, defeating Jorge Calvo Martin, Gustavo Balart and Kazbek Ashimov in the process. Now being cleared to fight again, Puerta looks to defend his belt for the first time since being promoted from interim champion to undisputed champion.
Ledesma (16-7), is riding a five-fight win streak coming into this bout, with all of his victories in the stint coming via decision. The 36-year old has faced great competition in his MMA career, facing including UFC contenders such as Jimmie Rivera, Aljamain Sterling, Brian Kelleher, Zach Makovsky and Louis Gaudinot in his 10-year MMA career. A veteran of Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Bellator, and Ring of Combat, he will be making his Titan FC debut.
Also on the card, undefeated prospect Chase Hooper faces former Titan FC champion Luis Gomez. An interim bantamweight title is up for grabs between Matt Wagy and Irwin Rivera. Jared Gooden, Marc Stevens and Caio Uruguai are also back in the Titan FC cage.
