Saturday night at UFC 238 in Chicago, a new bantamweight champion was crowned. The winner of Henry Cejudo against Marlon Moraes was poised to rule the roost over the 135lb weight class, which over the past year had shown some true depth. In the absence of the suspended champ T.J. Dillashaw, things were about to get interesting.
The card, going down at the United Center, also featured a women’s flyweight title fight, as Valentina Shevchenko was set to take on Jessica Eye. The resurgent Eye had found new life as a flyweight, but ‘Bullet’ was no doubt the toughest test of her career. Would she indeed prove bulletproof, or would Shevchenko prevail and continue her reign?
