While the UFC was underway for an early card from St. Petersburg on Saturday, boxing action in the Great White North saw Lee Baxter Promotion’s Light Em Up 3 show going down Saturday.
Cageside Press will bring you live results from The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Ontario for Lee Baxter Promotions third annual Light Em Up event on Saturday, April 20, 2019. This card will be streamed live and free at 8:00pm EST for fans to watch on Lee Baxter Promotion’s Facebook page.
Headlining tonight’s event will be Irish prospect Lee Reeves (3-0) who is set to meet Argentina’s Guillermo Ariel Lettieri (17-2-1) in a six-round welterweight contest. Reeves last fought on the undercard of Michael “Mick” Conlan and Ruben Garcia Hernandez on St. Patrick’s day at Madison Square Garden in New York. In that fight he took home a unanimous decision victory over Edward Torres in a very impressive performance.
The next featured bout includes Canadian NABA welterweight champion Kane Heron (14-0-1) who is set to face Brazilian veteran Anderson Clayton Santos (41-13-2) in the co-main event of the night. Heron is a staple for the Light Em Up events and a big crowd favourite with seven exciting knockouts to his name. Heron is coming off a successful defense of his NABA title over Quebec’s Flavio Michel (8-4) just last month.
On this card we also have Pan American Games gold medalist and former olympic boxer Arthur Biyarslanov (2-0) who made it to the Rio Olympics in 2016, but was eliminated in the second round of his debut. By the end of 2018, Biyarslanov turned his career pro and has since secured two very impressive first-round knockouts.

Arthur “The Chechen Wolf” Biyarslanov (3-0) defeats Christian Arrazola (24-17-3) via TKO at 2:52 in the first round.
Mponda Kalunga (4-2) defeats Johnny “The Greek” Birmpilis (5-1) via majority decision (57-57, 58-56, 58-56).
Co-main event: Kane Heron (15-0-1) defeats Anderson Clayton (41-14-2) via unanimous decision (79-73, 80-72, 80-72).
Main event: Lee Reeves (4-0) defeats Guillermo Ariel Lettieri (17-3-1) via TKO at 1:19 of the first round.
