Check out highlights from Thursday’s Invicta FC 32 weigh-ins below, where the main event pairing made weight, but three fighters came in heavy.
On Friday night, Invicta FC returns to action, making a rare appearance on the road in Shawnee, Oklahoma. It’s the all-female fighting outfit’s first trip to the state, and they’re bringing their biggest title with them. In the Invicta FC 32 main event, featherweight gold is on the line as 145lb standouts Felicia Spencer and Pam ‘Bam’ Sorenson face off.
In the co-main event, Mizuki Inoue (billed simply as MIZUKI) will face Viviane Pereira. Mizuki, however, came in a little heavy for the strawweight limit. She’ll turn over 25% of her purse to her opponent. Sarah Patterson (stepping up on short notice to fight recently returned veteran and former matchmaker Kaitlin Young) and Chelsea Chandler are in the same boat. Patterson and Young were already fighting at a 150lb catchweight with Patterson coming in last minute. She was 4.5 pounds over the limit, however, but the fight is still a go.
Teenage standout Kay Hansen is also on the card, taking her third fight in twelve months with Invicta. Having bounced back from her first loss, she was moving up against Erin Blanchfield in flyweight action.
