The Professional Fighters League hosts PFL 9 in Long Beach, CA on Saturday night, and on Friday, all fighters were ready to hit the scales.
The Professional Fighters League was set to hold its second post-season event with PFL 9 on Saturday at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California. Ahead of the big night, featuring quarterfinal and semifinal action for the lightweight and light heavyweight divisions, all fighters hit the scales.
Only two from each weight class would make it through to the final on New Year’s Eve at New York’s Madison Square Garden, of course. And missing weight would mean they were out of luck when it came to the million dollars in prize money awarded to the winner of each weight class.
That meant weigh-ins were key. As was every fight from here on out.
Every fighter was on point for PFL 9.
