Lightweight and middleweight bouts are the most recent additions to UFC on FOX 31, the final UFC event on the FOX network.
The final UFC on FOX card has added two more fights to its line-up. UFC on FOX 31, which will be the promotion’s final show on the main FOX network, takes place December 15 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Though no main event has been announced as of yet, a handful of bouts have been unveiled. Added to that list are Bobby Green vs. Drakkar Klose, and Gerald Meerschaert vs. Jack Hermansson.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel first noted the bouts over the weekend. The paper previously announced Erik Koch vs. Dwight Grand and Jared Gordon vs. Joaquim Silva for the event.
Drakkar Klose (9–1–1), a Michigan native training with the MMA Lab, will look to build off a win over Lando Vannata at UFC 226 as he enters UFC on FOX 31. Klose is a former Rage in the Cage lightweight champion and expected to be a big part of the 155lb division in the UFC moving forward. He’s 3-1 in the promotion to date, with the lone loss coming to David Teymur.
Opponent Bobby Green (24–8–1) has bounced back from a three fight losing streak with a win and a draw in his last two outings. The draw came against Vannata, while the win came over Erik Koch in Green’s most recent outing.
In the other addition to the UFC on FOX 31 card, middleweights Gerald Meerschaert (28–9) and Jack Hermansson (17-4) face off. Meerschaert enters the night riding a two-fight win streak, while Hermansson most recently defeated Thales Leites at UFC 224.
