UFC Calgary is less than twenty-four hours away, and the card looks to be a good one. All fighters made weight early Friday, and that evening, they hit the stage so fans could get a glimpse of their favorites. And while mostly drama-free, there were a few tense moments, including Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Tecia Torres getting a bit close. Cooler heads prevailed there, which was more than could be said for Gadzhimurad Antigulov and Ion Cutelaba, which required UFC President Dana White’s intervention.
Stepping on the scale’s early, Canada’s Randa Markos got a big cheer from the Calgary crowd.
Main event lightweight Eddie Alvarez, meanwhile, had a message for the fans in Calgary:
