Dennis ‘The Menace’ Bermudez will look to bring the fight to Iowa’s Rick Glenn in Idaho this July.
The UFC continues to give Boise, Idaho an impressive card for later this Summer. Newsday was first to report that featherweights Dennis Bermudez and Rick Glenn will collide at the event. UFC Boise is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Junior dos Santos and the debuting Blagoy Ivanov. It represents the UFC’s first trip to the state.

A couple of years removed from an impressive seven fight win streak, Dennis Bermudez (16-8) is a fighter on the brink. Having lost three straight, he’s in a critical position at featherweight. Still an exciting, entertaining fighter with a willingness to throw down, he’ll need to ensure he pulls out a win at UFC Boise, or risk being handed his walking papers. Bermudez’s recent outings have included losses to The Korean Zombie, Darren Elkins, and Andre Fili — though the later two each came via split decision.
With that in mind Bermudez may very well be looking to avoid the scorecards in Idaho.
Rick Glenn (20–5–1) heads into the bout off a loss to Myles Jury at UFC 219. Prior to that loss, he’d won back-to-back fights against Phillipe Nover and Gavin Tucker. All three fights went the distance.
UFC Fight Night 133, or UFC Boise, takes place July 14 at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho.
