UFC St. Louis has had a killer featherweight scrap made official.
The Korean Superboy is back! Doo-Ho Choi, who has not fought since December of last year, will return to action at UFC St. Louis. There, he’ll meet the rugged Jeremy Stephens in a bout that screams Fight of the Night. The UFC announced the news Thursday.

Choi (14–2) was undefeated in the UFC prior to his Fight of the Year bout against Cub Swanson at UFC 206 last December. That bout was a thrilling back-and-forth affair with both men landing heavy blows. Coming off that big fight, Choi had been linked to a tilt with Renan Barao, but the bout fell through. Now, he’ll face Stephens, and try to make it four bonus-winning fights in a row.
Jeremy Stephens (26–14) will enter UFC Fight Night 124 coming off the biggest win of his career. That came against former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez at September’s UFC 215. Stephens battled to a hard-fought unanimous decision victory that night. In St. Louis, he’ll look to make it two in a row against Choi.
Given both men’s tendency to put on a show, this fight should absolutely not be missed.
UFC Fight Night 124, or UFC St. Louis, takes place January 14 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO. Uriah Hall vs. Vitor Belfort and Paige VanZant vs. Jessica Rose-Clark are among the other bouts confirmed for the card.
