Bellator MMA had a big show stacked with two title fights and a host of notable names to entertain the masses at Penn State on Friday, with Bellator 186: Davis vs. Vassell.
On the main card, light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader would defend his title for the first time against Brit Linton Vassell. Just prior to that, the inaugural women’s flyweight title fight went down between Emily Ducote and the undefeated Hawaiian Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, a rematch of their 2016 battle that saw Macfarlane earn a unanimous decision.
Earlier in the night, however, the Bellator 186 preliminary card was set to see the professional debut of standout wrestling prospect Tywan Claxton, as well as the sophomore appearance in Bellator of another top prospect, Logan Storley.
