Ultimate Fighter 23 winner Tatiana Suarez will be back in action this fall, appearing at UFC Fight Night 120. There, she’ll fight undefeated Brazilian prospect Viviane Pereira. Combate was first to report the news, which was later confirmed by MMA Fighting. UFC Norfolk is set to take place in November.
Strawweight TUF winner Suarez (4-0) is undefeated in her professional career to date, but has not fought since winning The Ultimate Fighter 23 in July of 2016, when she defeated Amanda Cooper at the finale. On the series, she eliminated Chel-c Bailey, JJ Aldrich, and Kate Jackson, with the latter two victories coming by submission.
Suarez was linked to a bout at UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany last December, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.
In Viviane Pereira (13–0), the TUF 23 champ faces a much more experienced fighter who has become a hot prospect in the 115lb division. Pereira will enter UFC Norfolk having won both her UFC bouts to date, including a split decision upset of former title challenger, and now Bellator star Valerie Letourneau.
UFC Fight Night 120, a.k.a. UFC Norfolk, takes place November 11 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Anthony Pettis and Dustin Poirier face off in the main event of what is quickly becoming one of the better Fight Night cards of late.
