UFC Vegas 108, the 108th Fight Night stop on the UFC schedule, may have looked like just another Apex show on the surface, but ended up delivering some history after an unexpected pullout in the main event.

The first Apex card since May was initially supposed to be headlined by young star Tatsuro Taira opposite Amir Albazi. It then became the first ever all-Asian main event in UFC history when the undefeated Korean Hyun Sung Park stepped in on short notice to face Taira. Now that the event is behind us, let’s look ahead at some matchups that could be ahead for the victorious fighters from Saturday.

Tatsuro Taira

The young Japanese rising star bounced back nicely after suffering his first professional loss to Brandon Royval last October. The promotion clearly thinks highly of Taira as this was his third consecutive main event opportunity, and it’s easy to understand why after the performance he put on. Despite not being known to the masses yet, Park came in as an undefeated 29-year-old on a 9-fight finishing streak with a Road to UFC tournament win to his name. This is a win for Taira that has the potential to age quite nicely if Park can bounce back and keep steadily rising the way he was.

Considering the flyweight champion, Alexandre Pantoja, seemingly has a date with Joshua Van in December, it’s an almost certainty that Taira will have to win one more fight before getting his shot at the title. Manel Kape is another name that had a lot of momentum before falling to Muhammad Mokaev a year ago. He has since gained back this momentum, but an untimely pullout against Brandon Royval in June opened the door for Van to steal his spot. To me, locking Taira and Kape together in the cage is an easy call to make as this fight would inevitably produce the next worthy contender. Putting it on the same card as Pantoja vs Van so the UFC can have a backup fighter ready is also an obvious call to make.

Taira’s next fight: Manel Kape

Chris Duncan

The UFC Vegas 108 card was blessed with two lightweight bangers right before the main event. In the co-main, we had Chris Duncan outlasting Mateusz Rebecki in very similar fashion to how Rebecki narrowly outlasted Myktybek Orolbai in his Fight of the Year contender at UFC 308. Now 5-1 in the UFC, the Scottish fighter has clearly been adding layers to his game since his two Contender Series bouts. He’s an action fighter who’s been producing results worthy of a steady increase in competition. Even if Esteban Ribovics had not competed on this card, there’s a good chance I would’ve picked him as Duncan’s next opponent anyway. With both of them escaping this card with hard-fought wins, the timing is almost sure to work out for them to meet a couple months down the line.

Duncan’s next fight: Esteban Ribovics

Esteban Ribovics

Not unlike the co-main event, two action fighters faced off in the feature bout. Both Ribovics and Elves Brener were looking to get back in the win column and it was the Argentinian who ended up with his hand raised. Ribovics landed some nice combinations, but Brener’s insane toughness allowed him to survive long enough for the Argentinian to start to slow down a bit, but not enough to steal the victory. My reasoning for matching up Ribovics with Duncan is the same as the one explained above. Even if Duncan didn’t fight on this card, I still would’ve matched them up together as they are in very similar spots in the division.

Ribovics’ next fighter: Chris Duncan

Karol Rosa

Brazilian Rosa, who’s been a mainstay of the women’s bantamweight top 10, has been juggling wins and losses for her past eight fights. I think the way the promotion has been using her as a gatekeeper to the top 10 has been effective. Fighters like Norma Dumont, Irene Aldana and Ailín Pérez have gotten passed her, while at UFC Vegas 108, Nora Cornolle couldn’t. We now know what kind of expectations we should have for the Frenchwoman. Mayra Bueno Silva got on a hot streak and rode it to a vacant title shot, but what kind of expectations should we realistically have for the former title challenger? Let’s have her fight Rosa and truly find out.

Rosa’s next fight: Mayra Bueno Silva

Neil Magny

After getting viciously getting knocked out by rising stars Michael Morales and Carlos Prates in just two and a half months, most of us thought it was end for Neil Magny. The savvy veteran still has enough gas in the tank to get some wins at the UFC level, as demonstrated by his TKO finish over Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos. Even though it seems Magny has seemingly fought everyone already, there is a matchup out there that I find intriguing. Chris Curtis recently went down to welterweight and was victorious doing so. Curtis is former middleweight, but always looked small for that weight class, while Magny is tall and lanky for his division. It’s an age-appropriate matchup between two fighters with similar roles in the division. Why not?

Magny’s next fight: Chris Curtis

Kevin Vallejos

While Danny Silva clearly offered more resistance than Vallejos’ last two opponents, he still couldn’t get past the youngster. Vallejos is a blue-chip prospect whose only professional loss is his Contender Series fight with Fighting Nerd Jean Silva. The 23-year-old Argentinian does appear to have a bright future and when the UFC knows that they have a potential star on their hands, they usually try to put them up against names the fans will recognize. This is a cut-throat business and despite losing his 5th fight in a row, all signs point to Calvin Kattar still being under contract with the MMA leader. If they’re not going to cut him, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them use what is left of him to best serve their future interests. A couple years ago, Kattar would’ve been too much too soon for a young prospect like Vallejos. But now, the Bostonian has the exact profile you would want as Vallejos’s next opponent. He’s a recognizable name with several main events under his belt, but clearly long enough in the tooth that you would favour the Argentinian to win.

Vallejos’ next fight: Calvin Kattar

UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday featured a 12-fight card that evenly split the bouts between the prelims and the main card. In the main event, Hyun Sung Park stepped up on short notice to take on Tatsuro Taira. In the co-main event, lightweight standouts Chris Duncan and Mateusz Rebecki put on a fight for the ages, somehow outdoing Esteban Ribovics and Elves Brener who had put on an amazing scrap just one fight prior.

A couple of fighters didn’t lose much stock even though they took a loss on Saturday. And what this card lacked in star power, it more than made up for with exiting bouts, entertaining finishes and a last second main event switch up.

Hyun Sung Park

Tatsuro Taira outclassed and submitted Hyun Sung Park in the second round of the main event at UFC Vegas 108. Taira entered the bout ranked at #6 within the flyweight division while Hyun Sung Park was unranked. Tatsuro was originally scheduled to take on #4 ranked, Amir Albazi before Amir was forced to withdraw from the bout.

Park now is 10-1 as a pro and 3-1 in the UFC since earning contract in Road to UFC in 2022. Hyun Sung was yanked from his fight with the #10 ranked, Steve Erceg, on August 9th for this bout. Erceg is now fighting Ode Osbourne instead.

Instead of another ranked matchup for Hyun Sung Park, what if he fought the winner of Lone’er Kavanagh vs Charles Johnson? That fight goes down on August 23rd so the timing wouldn’t be too bad. Kavanagh is 2-0 within the UFC while Johnson is 6-5 but was previously ranked and has the last victory over hot-prospect, Joshua Van. This bout would definitely be for a ranking as Park faced a completely different matchup than he was expecting at UFC Vegas 108 and should be somewhat fast tracked to a ranking. Fight night main card type of matchup for a top 10 ranking within the flyweight division.

Hyun Sung’s next fight: Lone’er Kavanagh vs Charles Johnson Winner

Mateusz Rebecki

Chris Duncan bested Mateusz Rebecki over the course of three rounds to win a unanimous decision in a bloody all-out war. Rebecki a 2022 Contender Series product is now 4-2 within the UFC but has lost two of his last three. Granted, Mateusz has won fight of the night honors in his last two appearances.

Mateusz Rebecki simply needs entertaining dance partners to deliver the magic. Easiest matchup to make here would be to pair Rebecki up against Elves Brener who fought just before him on the card. Guaranteed fireworks and violence would come out of these two lightweights if they were paired up. And it’d be an easy one to book for the main card of a fight night. Serious implications for the winner becoming among the long list of fan favorites within the lightweight division.

Mateusz’s next fight: Elves Brener

Elves Brener

Esteban Ribovics defeated Elves Brener in a unanimous decision battle on Saturday. Elves has now lost three fights in a row since starting off hot with three victories including two stoppages and as many performance bonuses.

Two clear different plays here for Brener, either fight Daniel Zellhuber or Mateusz Rebecki. Elves was supposed to meet Zellhuber back in March, but withdrew from the bout. Daniel wasn’t able to get back in the cage until July 19 when he lost a unanimous decision to veteran Michael Johnson. Zellhuber is now 3-3 in the UFC and is on a two-fight skid. Mateusz Rebecki is another obvious option though Rebecki hasn’t lost three fights in a row, he is 1-2 in his last three and the sole win was a split decision. Leaning towards Zellhuber as they share a common opponent and outcome (Esteban Ribovics, decision loss). To be fair Rebecki was scheduled to take on Joel Alvarez who Brenner faced in 2024, but the fight was cancelled after Alvarez withdrew.

Elves’s next fight: Daniel Zellhuber, Mateusz Rebecki

Nora Cornolle

Karol Rosa got the unanimous decision victory against Nora Cornolle on UFC Vegas 108’s main card on Saturday. The lopsided loss now brings Nora’s UFC record to 3-2.Worth noting that of Nora’s three wins with the promotion she has missed weight ahead of two of them.

Conrolle’s next fight should be against Darya Zheleznyakova. Nora and Draya share a common opponent and outcome as they both fought and defeated Melissa Mullins. Zheleznyakova is 2-1 in the UFC with her only loss coming to Allin Perez last September. Even though Darya is coming off a win in her most recent fight over Melissa Mullins on June 21st this fight still makes sense. Would be a good fight between two fighters still trying to get a foothold within the division.

Nora’s next fight: Darya Zheleznyakova

Elizeu Zaleski

Elizeu Zaleski was finished by Neil Magny in the second round of the fight on UFC Vegas 108. Zaleski, a 10-year veteran of the UFC, has now lost three of his last four fights.

Zaleski turns 39 later this year, so why not give him another aging veteran? 40-year-old Nicolas Dalby would be a fantastic matchup for Zaleski. Dalby was last in action against Randy Brown back in April. He was finished by a right hook in the second round of a fantastic fight. Elizeu also fought Randy Brown although it was in June 2024 and lost a unanimous decision bout. Dalby has lost two of his last four but is on a two-fight skid just like Zaleski. This has fun main card fight night action written all over it. Two, decade-long competitors within the UFC duking it out to see who stays out of the hot seat of retirement talks.

Elizeu’s next fight: Nicolas Dalby

Danny Silva

Danny Silva lost a unanimous decision to Kevin Vallejos to open the main card of UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday. Silva, a product of the 2023 season of the Contender Series is now 2-1 within the UFC. (To make matters worse, Danny missed weight in his UFC debut and both wins have been split decisions.)

Danny should fight Timmy Cuamba in his next fight. This might be a bit of a random pick considering that Cuamba is just 1-2 within the UFC but his two losses are a split decision to Bolaji Oki and a unanimous decision to Lucas Almedia. Silva beat Lucas Almedia back in March via split decision. Technically Timmy is coming off a victory as he stopped Roberto Romero his last time out back in April. However, this fight still makes a lot of sense as far as the momentum of both fighters currently.

Danny’s next fight: Timmy Cuamba

Rather than making the difficult decision and awarding a single Fight of the Night bonus at UFC Vegas 108, the promotion opted to hand out two.

Yes, there were some worthy individual performances, including bantamweight prospect Austin Bashi and main event flyweight Tatsuro Taira both earning impressive submission wins. Still, Esteban Ribovics vs. Elves Brener and Chris Duncan vs. Mateusz Rebecki were both wildly entertaining fights, and neck-and-neck in terms of Fight of the Night potential. So why reward one when you can reward both?

Both fights went the distance, with Ribovics putting on another high-volume, dominant performance, though Brener was both tough enough, and talented enough, to make things closer than they might otherwise been. Then, in the co-main event, Scotland’s Duncan and Poland’s Rebecki, who happen to be teammates, put on an extremely bloody war, trading blows for the better part of fifteen minutes.

The UFC commentary team, albeit prone to hyperbole, were calling the bout a Fight of the Year candidate by the end. It might end up being a dark horse in that category, but it was without question one of the better UFC fights in recent weeks, or even months.

With two Fight of the Night bonuses awarded at UFC Vegas 108, no Performance of the Night was handed out. All four bonus-winners will pocket $50,000 U.S. as usual. With the card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, no gate was announced.

Lightweight action was set as the UFC Vegas 108 co-main event on Saturday, as Scotland’s Chris Duncan took on Poland’s Mateusz Rebecki.

Both men had picked up wins last time out, with Duncan having won two straight opposite Bolaji Oki and Jordan Vucenic.

The added twist to the fight was that Duncan and Rebecki were teammates. Though if they were friendly in the gym, they sure didn’t fight like it. The lightweight co-main event at UFC Vegas 108 started out hot and heavy, but men throwing hard. Duncan would go down off a slip, Rebecki would later target the Scotsman’s lead leg. Duncan ripped the body with his own kick, while Rebecki more than once punched his way in. Duncan hit the mark with an elbow, but fanned on a high kick seconds later.

Duncan’s left hand, however, connected more than once in the opening frame, leading to some serious damage around Rebecki’s right eye. The Polish fighter opted to change things up late in the frame, landing a takedown. Duncan made it back up, but still had Rebecki on him.

Mateusz Rebecki continued to chop at the legs of Chris Duncan to start round two. That, while looking for a way in. Duncan, with the reach advantage, was doing ample damage catching Rebecki coming inside however. Ninety seconds or so in, Duncan had Rebecki rocked, and followed up with a head kick. Blocked partially or no, it landed with authority. Rebecki, under fire, opted to land a takedown, but once again, Duncan didn’t stay down. You can’t keep a good Scot down, apparently. Still, Rebecki went back to putting on forward pressure, apparently having found the recovery time he needed.

Lots of stand-up action took them to the end of the frame; Rebecki’s right eye appeared to have some swelling that hopefully wouldn’t become too much of an issue.

Chris Duncan turned up the heat to start round three, backing Rebecki up. Rebecki appeared to consider a takedown, but that was quickly shut down. Another attempt saw Duncan nearly reverse, and either way, he immediately scrambled out. Rebecki was showing damage on both sides of his face now. Duncan’s right hand was money. A step in elbow connected for Duncan. Rebecki was landing occasionally, still in the fight, but falling further and further behind. Duncab, however, ate a couple of shots as the round wore on, and suddenly his face was bloodied as well. Tagged once or twice in the back half, Duncan initiated a clinch along the fence.

The brawl continued to the final bell, Duncan’s cheek leaking blood, Rebecki’s eye not even visible under a pool of it.

Official Result: Chris Duncan def. Mateusz Rebecki by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Argentinian lightweight Esteban Ribovics faced off against Brazil’s Elves Brener in a main card battle at Saturday’s UFC Vegas 108.

The first UFC Apex card in nearly two months found both men looking to return to the win column, with Brener having dropped two straight. Ribovics entered off a single loss, against Nasrat Haqparast.

Both fighters exchanged low kicks in the opening ten seconds before Brener initiated the the grappling but was unsuccessful on his takedown attempt. Ribovics was able to reverse position and drag Brener to the ground momentarily. Both fighters scrambled to their feet and started trading bombs in the center of the cage. Ribovics marched forward looking to land big right hand shots while Brener timed multiple straight left hands. Back and forth exchanges on the inside saw Ribovics work the body and head with slick boxing combinations, while Brener hung tough throwing creative techniques. Brener attempted a spinning backfist but fell to the floor and was met with huge ground and pound shots by Esteban.

Each fighter had landed over 35 significant strikes in the round in a fight that was quickly becoming an all out war. After an action packed opening five minutes, Ribovics had jumped out to an early lead, but Brener had moments himself.

In the second, Brener tried to gain back the respect of Ribovics utilizing his kickboxing from the outside. Ribovics successfully defended a takedown, and continued walking down Brener to the fence. Brener utilized his jab to keep Esteban at bay, but the dangerous Argentinian fighter kept finding openings for big shots to the body and head. With a minute left in the round both fighters continued to throw down in the center of the cage, as Brener seemed to be gaining momentum. This was quickly turning into a fight of the night candidate and had fans at the apex on their feet.

The third and final round saw Esteban crash forward with big right hands forcing Brener to the fence. Both fighters had landed over 80 significant strikes in the fight. Brener landed a good left hook followed by a right hand that got the attention of Ribovics. Midway through the round the striking totals had eclipsed 100 for each. A beautiful left hand by Ribovics found a home but Brener was showing toughness in the pocket. Brener crashed forward with a takedown attempt but was unsuccessful. Each fighter traded big shots back and forth as one minute remained in the round. Blood was pouring from the mouth of Brener but he was undeterred. Brener landed a left hand that rocket Ribovics and a spinning backfist moments later.

A lightweight slugfest in the Apex reached the final bell as each fighter embraced in exhaustion. A fantastic fight between two very tough competitors. This was going to be a very tough fight to score for the judges. All three judges saw this contest for Esteban Ribovics, who is now 4-1 in his last five fights. Ribovics is quickly turning into a fan favorite as one of the most entertaining fighters on the roster.

Official Result: Esteban Ribovics def. Elves Brener by unanimous decision (29–28, 30–27, 30–27)

Women’s bantamweights Karol Rosa and Nora Cornolle looked to work their way up the 135lb division at UFC Vegas 108.

Rosa had been trading wins and losses of late, while Cornolle had picked up a win over Hailey Cowan at UFC 314 in Miami back in April.

Rosa and Cornolle were both active in the opening minute, firing some big shots, feinting, and exchanging kicks. Rosa in particular was firing with ill intent, and landed heavy before tying things up against the fence. That slowed the fight down, with positional battles following for what seemed like (and actually was) several minutes. Rosa was in control most of the time, with Cornolle unable to reverse or get her back off the fence, though in the final minute she did finally separate, firing an elbow over the top as she did.

Karol Rosa, however, tried to clinch up again, though this time it wouldn’t last.

Round two opened with an emphatic takedown being landed by Rosa. She settled into half guard, the pair a couple of a feet away from the fence to start. Cornolle tied up one arm, but Rosa pounded away at the body with her free hand.

And there they would stay, Rosa on top for pretty much the entirety of the round. She would hunt a choke towards the end of the round, though time ran out before she could secure it.

There was a decent argument that Karol Rosa had won the opening round. There was no question she had won the second. In the third, she immediately took Nora Cornolle down again, once again finding herself in half guard. Cornolle, meanwhile, just could not get out from under Rosa. Rosa’s top control was too strong, her ground game far superior. By the end of 15 minutes, there was zero question as to who the winner was, with Karol Rosa winning a one-sided decision.

Official Result: Karol Rosa def. Nora Cornolle by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-27, 29-27)

Welterweight record-holder Neil Magny was paired up with the always dangerous Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in main card action at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday.

Magny was coming off his first back-to-back losses since 2013, the same year he joined the UFC. On his current skid, he’d dropped fights to Michael Morales and Carlos Prates, while Elizeu Zaleski was coming off a single loss to Chidi Njokuani.

The first round started with Dos Santos pressing the action landing good kicks to the legs of Magny. Dos Santos attempted multiple takedowns in the opening five minutes but none of them landed. Magny was on the defensive for the majority of the round, while Dos Santos looked for takedowns against the fence.

In the second round Dos Santos finally landed his first takedown, dragging Magny to the floor with over four minutes remaining. Magny attempted to reverse position, but was unable to get the Brazilian off of him. With two minutes left, Magny returned to his feet and momentarily landed a takedown of his own. Both fighters returned to the feet before Magny landed another takedown after a solid knee, this time quickly transitioning to back control. With thirty seconds left in the round Magny started unloading with bombs on top pouring down punches on a defenseless Dos Santos.

Veteran referee Mark Smith called a stop to the action as Magny picked up the thirtieth win of his career. This TKO victory moved Magny into second all time in UFC victories with 23 tied with four other fighters. Magny holds many division records at Welterweight and earned a stoppage victory one day before his 38th birthday.

Featherweights Danny Silva and Kevin Vallejos kicked off the main card at Saturday’s UFC Vegas 108.

Silva and Vallejos both entered the fight with a single loss on their resume: Silva to Canaan Kawaihae, Vallejos to Jean Silva. That, of course, was about to change.

Vallejos held center early, working his kicks and firing hands, looking to hem Silva in. Silva would work from the outside, with both men finding openings at times. Later in the opening round, Vallejos closed the distance, taking Silva to the fence and getting a body lock in place. The clinch didn’t last, and Silva pressed as they returned to more of a stand-up battle, showing off a bit of fancy footwork and feints before landing a takedown right at the end of the round.

Round two saw Silva press forward, feeling a bit of a confidence boost perhaps after taking over at the end of the opening frame. Vallejos, however, soon settled in again, holding center, firing kicks, and bursting forward with punches in bunches. Silva looked to duck in on a takedown, but Vallejos turned the tables, took Silva to the fence, then fired an elbow off the break. Vallejos found a home for his left late in the round, then connected with a right. Silva pressed back. Vallejos went to the body. Silva kicked, Vallejos came over the top. Lots of action in the back half of an entertaining second round.

The third round opened with Danny Silva pressing, ducking under a punch, and looking for a takedown only for Vallejos to easily fight it off. Moments later it was Vallejos landing his own, explosive takedown; he then had to keep a scrambling Silva from reversing. End result, they were soon back on the feet. Near the midway mark of the round, things really opened up, with Vallejos tagging Silva, and Silva answering back. Both men still had gas in the tank, firing at will. Silva was taking a somewhat dangerous approach, at times sticking his chin up, goading Vallejos and chirping at him. Vallejos, however, was connecting more, and appeared to have better accuracy. Towards the final minute, Silva looked to tie up, but that didn’t last. He did display some solid movement, and would tap his chin after each Vallejos shot landed. A Silva knee also proved dangerous. Yet Kevin Vallejos, chin tucked, stayed busy, firing a spinning back fist over Silva just as he level changed at round’s end.

This one was headed to the judges, with all three siding with Kevin Vallejos.

Official Result: Kevin Vallejos def. Danny Silva by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

Japanese wrestler Rinya Nakamura looked to bounce back from his first career loss when he faced off against England’s Nathan Fletcher in the featured preliminary card fight at UFC Vegas 108.

Nakamura had dropped a decision to Muin Gafurov at UFC 311 back in January, after starting his career a perfect 9-0. As for Fletcher, a similar 9-2 record to start his career saw him coming into the bantamweight fight off a loss to Caolan Loughran.

This one was over in a heartbeat. After some feeling out and a few kicks, Rinya Nakamura fired a kick to the liver. The toes dug in, and Fletcher had a delayed response, dropped his hands, stepping back, then crumpling in a heap. Nakamura moved in for the kill, and the ref was all over things, quickly waving it off. A nasty liver kick TKO for the Japanese star, who returns to the win column in style with the victory.

Nathan Fletcher now sits at 1-2 in the UFC following UFC Vegas 108, and with back-to-back losses, his next fight will be a must-win affair. Namamura, meanwhile, looks to be back on track, and barely broke a sweat in the fight, which could mean a quick turnaround.

In his post-fight interview, Nakamura expressed a desire to return by the end of the year.

Vieira (10-3) is a well-known Jiu Jitsu ace with plenty of MMA experience. With a 5-3 record in the UFC he holds victories over Cody Brundage, Armen Petrosyan and Derek Brunson. He came into the fight off a decision loss to Andre Petroski.

Gore (5-3) was already on thin ice with a 2-3 UFC record, but missing weight by 3.5 pounds on Friday morning may have his back against the wall. A decisive victory over Vieira may get him off the short list of cuts, but in this world of MMA missing weight is absolutely a no-go.

Round 1

Vieira came out landing jabs up top and to the body. Vieira shot in for a takedown, but Gore was able to stuff it quickly. Vieira tried another takedown, but that got stuffed too. Gore went with leg kicks before stuffing another takedown.

Gore landed a nasty calf kick, but didn’t follow it with anything. Vieira waited a few seconds and then finally scored a takedown. He laced Gore’s legs and Gore had fight pretty hard to get back to his feet, but he got away from Vieira.

The round ended with Gore landing another calf kick and stuffing another takedown attempt.

Round 2

Jabs from both men land. Gore looked more willing to exchange knowing he’s been able to stop takedowns or get back up rather quickly. Vieira landed a heavy 1-2 and then shot in, but got stuff again.

Vieira began to land 1-2s on Gore and then shot in again going for the single leg, but again nothing from it. Vieira got poked in the eye getting him some time to recover.

Once time in was called Gore landed a heavy right hand, but that was all he could muster before the round ended. Really odd fight from Gore.

Round 3

Gore came out with some urgency…right into a bunch of jabs from Vieira. Vieira fired away with heavy shots deciding to meet Gore’s aggressiveness. Gore fired away and landed, but it was all single shots. Vieira kept throwing 2-3 shots per combo. He went in for a takedown, but got stuffed again.

Vieira continued to land combinations and Gore being unable or unwilling to match his output gave the Brazilian a lot of confidence.

Round ended with Vieira shooting for another takedown. Pretty clear victory for Rodolfo Vieira.

Official Result: Rodolfo Vieira def. Tresean Gore via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
