Middleweight: Joseph Pyfer (5-0)

Pyfer is a dangerous man who has had huge knockout wins as an amateur and a pro. On the feet, he has a good jab, but it’s the power in his hands that has been a big difference-maker. Using more than just single strikes, Pyfer does a nice job throwing the one-two combinations and can end the fight standing at any time. He is well-rounded as he has finished from brutal ground-and-pound and three career submissions. Pyfer is a strong guy, showing that with his takedowns, getting the body lock and dumping his foes on their back. At only 22-years-old, Pyfer has a bright future. He fights Matt Foster (10-12) for the ROC title.

Welterweight: Tyler Ingram (3-0)

Ingram is only 3-0 as a professional but his latest win over respected regional prospect Daryl Wilson was impressive. Ingram is a physical guy that will stay in your face all fight. He has some effective leg kicks he uses on the outside as when he closes the distance though that’s where he does good work. Ingram can beat you up in the clinch and use his strength to pull you down to the mat. He’s solid on top with his ground and pound and control. Ingram is still green. but a good athlete and he is someone to keep an eye on. He fights Corey Davis (3-2).

RCC | Friday | Russia

Bantamweight: Denis Lavrentyev (8-2)

The Russia native and a product out of Jackson-Wink MMA has an extensive background in judo, winning multiple championships. With not much to offer on the feet, Lavrentyev does have a few things to work off in the future as he has a well-educated jab, he’s quick on the release, and he is athletic, but right now he just doesn’t do well with pressure. He wants to close the distance so he can use his judo, which he is excellent at. On the mat, Lavrentyev has dominant positional grappling who has very effective ground and pound. He fights Mateus Santos (14-5) who is a good test.

KSW 50 | Saturday | UK

Welterweight: Roberto Soldic (16-3)

The Croatian has beaten some stiff competition including Lewis Long, Borys Mańkowski, and Dricus Du Plessis, winning five titles in his career. Soldic is always coming forward and always looking for the finish. Soldic has heavy hands and a very accurate head kick, which he has dropped so many opponents with. It’s the constant volume he throws that allows him to do so well. He’s always throwing punches behind kicks and vice-versa. Soldic is the real deal. He will defend his KSW title against Michal Pietrzak (8-3).

Oktagon 14 | Saturday | Slovakia

Featherweight: Ludovit Klein (14-2)

Klein has some good experience with a 14-2 record and some wins over some good competition. He’s only 25 as well. He’s a fun fighter with only one fight going the distance. His last five opponents had a record of 57-17 at the time they fought. Klein is well-rounded but maybe a bit better on the feet. On the feet, he has a good jab and a dangerous head kick. At times he needs to throw more follow-ups but still at least throws good output. Klein has some solid wrestling as well and he mixes it in together well. He fights Joao Paulo Rodrigues (39-16-2).

Heavyweight: Martin Buday (6-1)

Buday doesn’t have any special qualities, but his forward pressure and ability to cut off angles has done him well. He doesn’t hit hard but has good timing when he throws. He’s not fast but uses effective footwork. While he’s not the most explosive heavyweight, he is still on a five-fight win streak with all five being finishes. He fights Daniel Dittrich (5-3), who he should beat.
