Igor Lazorin was first to report that Misha Cirkunov will take on Makhmud Muradov at the event. Cageside Press confirmed the booking Wednesday.

For Cirkunov (15-7), the fight finds him in must-win territory. The Latvian-Canadian has lost two straight, including his middleweight debut last time out. That bout saw Cirkunov lose a split decision against Krzysztof Jotko.

When he entered the promotion in 2015, Cirkunov got off to a hot start at light heavyweight, finishing all four of his opponents through his first four fights. Since then, however, he has posted a 2-5 record inside the octagon.

Muradov (25-7) shot to fame as the first mixed martial artist to be represented by Floyd Mayweather’s The Money Team. After a strong run in eastern Europe, Muradov signed with the UFC and won his first three bouts. Gerald Meerschaert then served up his first setback in the octagon back in August, locking in a submission in the second round of their contest.

The UFC’s February 26, 2022 event does not have an official location, venue, or broadcast plan announced. The following bouts have been reported for the card to date:
