After an off week, the UFC returns with a card in China. UFC Macau is headlined by Song Yadong as he looks to make a statement against a former champion in Deiveson Figueiredo. Closing out this UFC Macau edition of TTP is our interview with Dana White Contender Series heavyweight, Matt Adams. Adams discusses his past training and how he kicked it up a notch coming into this training camp. With his eyes set at 205lbs, he is in the best shape of his life, but is fully locked in on a fight at heavyweight. He gets the call to fight on the first episode of this year’s DWCS on August 11th.

Having left a multi-year partnership with UFC Fight Pass, whose future seems increasingly uncertain, LFA had linked up with Vice TV. LFA 224 was their debut on the cable network, with a vacant heavyweight title on the line between Matt Adams and Arslan Bilalov in the card’s main event.

That title was last held by Denzel Freeman, who vacated it when he jumped to the UFC last September.

A welterweight clash between Josiah Harrell and Bekmyrza Dosmatov served as the night’s co-headliner.
