A couple of huge finishes collected the Performance bonuses at UFC 321 on Saturday, and with only three fights on the card ending inside the distance (discounting a No Contest in the main event), it’s a good thing they were as big as they were.

Quillan Salkilld was among the two Performance of the Night bonus-winners, care of a vicious, stunning head kick KO of Nasrat Haqparast. The kick landed clean on Haqparast, sailing over the lightweight’s arm and connecting flush with the side of the head. Haqparast wound up face down, legs twitching, and did not regain consciousness for several minutes — a scene Salkilld later admitted was “scary.”

Part of the job description, however, and most certainly enough to claim a $50,000 Performance bonus.

The other Performance of the Night bonus went to Valter Walker, who made history by breaking his own record for consecutive heel hooks in the UFC. His fourth straight submission of that variety came early against UFC newcomer Louie Sutherland. After the bout, he called out Hamdy Abdelwahab for a fight at UFC Qatar next month; Abdelwahab, for his part, appeared open to the match-up.

Fight of the Night at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi went to L’udovit Klein vs. Mateusz Rebecki. After three rounds, Rebecki was bloodied, and Klein left unable to stand due to an injured ankle — though he did come away with the victory.

Rebecki (20-3) was also seeking redemption after a closely contested decision loss to Chris Duncan in August, a setback that halted his rising momentum in the lightweight division. Known for his relentless grappling pressure and durability, the Polish standout now aimed to rebound in emphatic fashion against Klein and prove he’s still a major threat in the division.

Round 1 – Both men came out in Southpaw, with Klein landing some nice early jabs before a big 1-2 put Rebecki on wobbly legs early. Rebecki recovered quickly and continued pressing forward on the front foot, smashing into the legs of Klein for a takedown attempt. After a bit of cage work, Klein was able to defend and separate.

Klein’s footwork and movement were a big issue for Rebecki, who was countered with a big left hand after Klein angled off one of his blitzes. After a winging miss, Rebecki leaned into a big head kick but ate it like it was nothing and continued forward until the round ended.

Round 2 – After a strong opening round for Klein, Rebecki landed some clean left hands early. A big exchange allowed a massive counter right hook to stun Rebecki, although Klein stayed patient. Rebecki recovered quickly again and shot another takedown against the cage shortly after.

This time, he got Klein down, who popped right back up and landed some clean straight lefts. Another big exchange where Rebecki missed opened up the same counter right hook, giving Rebecki the same jarring reaction when hit. Every time Klein landed the short right hook, Rebecki was reacting very poorly.

Klein continued working at range, firing head kicks off at the end of his combinations before the bell rang.

Round 3 – Rebecki understood he was definitely down two coming into Round 3 and came out as the aggressor. He looked to trap Klein on the cage and mix his overhands into his takedowns. This worked for Rebecki, who finally got to the back and landed some big GnP from side back control.

The visuals started to look bad for Klein, who was now trapped in bottom half guard while eating big elbows. One of those elbows split Klein open with blood leaking everywhere as Rebecki attacked a crucifix. He was unsuccessful with that, but postured up from half guard and landed seven clean elbows to Klein, who seemed helpless on his back at this point.

The final bell sounded with both men looking like they dove into a pool of blood. Klein stayed on the floor after the fight, which the commentary confirmed was due to an ankle injury he suffered in the fight.

UFC Vegas 107 experienced a turbulent fight week and a disaster of a fight night itself. The special six-fight main card was knocked down to just five as Maycee Barber was unable to make the walk for her main event against Erin Blanchfield.

Instead, the co-main event between the #7 ranked lightweight Mateusz Gamrot and an unranked L’udovit Klein served unknowingly as the three-round main event. Two of the five fights on the main card produced finishes. Fights were scratched last second and a bout between ranked contenders was moved up an entire weight class. Losers coming off of this card are mostly middle of the pack fighters with only one potentially in danger of being cut.

L’udovit Klein

Mateusz Gamrot showed off his elite grappling on the way to a unanimous decision victory over L’udovit Klein in the last fight of the night on Saturday. The loss snapped a seven-fight unbeaten streak for Klein dating back to his 2021 loss to Nate Landwehr. Klein is now 7-3-1 with the UFC since he was signed in 2020. Klein stepped up to fight a game #7 ranked lightweight and unfortunately for him, he came up well short in the massive opportunity.

Klein’s next fight should be against Drakkar Klose. Drakkar is 9-3 with the promotion since being signed in 2017. Klose was riding a 4-fight win streak until he was stopped in the first round by Joel Alvarez in their fight in December of 2024. Alvarez is now ranked at #15 within the lightweight division so it’s a win that’s aged fine for Klose.

L’udovit is now in a similar position, after having his streak snapped last night. Both fighters share high action, striking styles and this could easily be a co main event for a fight night card. Even has the potential to grace the main card of a pay-per-view. Winner of this bout would undoubtedly be competing for a ranking next to their name in the following bout. Loser might not be in such a bad space either, depending on how the fight goes. This has the makings to be one of those “all-time” type of bouts.

Klein’s next fight: Drakkar Klose

Billy Ray Goff

Ramiz Brahimaj landed a slick submission in the opening round of his fight with Billy Ray Goff on Saturday. Billy Ray Goff is now 1-2 with the UFC, and on a two-fight skid. Goff, a former CES Middleweight champion, received a UFC contract after a successful appearance on the Contender Series in 2022.

Brahimaj was not Billy’s original opponent, it was actually Seokhyeon Ko who had to withdraw due to visa issues.

Billy should take on a fighter like Pete Rodriguez next. Bassil Hafez who is also 1-2 with the promotion could also be a reasonable choice. However, Hafez, because of his grappling-submission based style would be a matchup Goff would be smart to avoid. Pete is just 5-2 in his pro MMA career and 1-2 in the UFC. Pete’s last time out was against Themba Gorimbo in February of 2024 where he was smoked in a little over 30 seconds. Pete has a super striking heavy style and a fight with Goff would have a good chance of some fireworks. Rodriguez has never made it out of the first round in any of his fights. And Pete also made his UFC debut against the current welterweight champion, in Jack Della Maddalena back in January of 2022.

Goff’s next fight: Pete Rodriguez

Bruno Lopes

Dustin Jacoby melted Bruno Lopes in the first round of what was an extremely entertaining fight, while it lasted, at UFC Vegas 107. Tough outcome for Bruno who has faced a lot of adversity in his stint fighting for the UFC and on the Contender Series. A two-time Contender Series competitor, Bruno was signed to the promotion last August. Lopes is now 1-1 with the UFC after he won his debut opposite of the then undefeated, Magomed Gadzhiyasulov, in January.

All things considered, the next matchup for Bruno should be a guy like Vitor Petrino. Vitor is also Contender Series alum but is 4-2 with the UFC. After starting off hot, Vitor has now been finished in two straight fights. Most recently by Dustin Jacoby back in December. But Petrino is already booked to take on Austen Lane in July. Lane, who is also a two-time Contender Series vet is 1-3, 1 NC with the UFC. Lane has been stopped in all of those losses as well. Austen saved his UFC career with his win over Robelis Despaigne last year. Even with that fact in mind, a devastating loss to Vitor could spell the end of his UFC career. For that reason, it’s best to give Burno the winner of this fight which goes down in Nashville on July 12th. Guaranteed violence, guaranteed finish, if this fight is made.

Lopes’s next fight: Vitor Petrino vs Austen Lane Winner

Macy Chiasson

Ketlen Vieira grinded out a unanimous decision against Macy Chiasson on the main card of UFC Vegas 107. A rare women’s featherweight bout- which was changed last second due to Vieira. And the discrepancy in weight was very apparent. This is a fight that had already been canceled twice before (2024-Vieira withdraw, 2025- Chiasson withdraw). Vieira is ranked at #3 in the bantamweight division while Macy is ranked at #5. Goes without saying that the performance was unfair due to the weight cut factor.

Macy’s next fight should be revisiting her canceled fight from July of 2023, against Yana Santos. That fight was cancelled because Chiasson withdrew. Since then, both women have gone 2-1. Only difference is that Chiasson lost her most recent fight while Yana lost the first after the pair’s cancelled bout. In July of 2023, Yana lost a split decision to Karol Rosa who is now ranked at #10. Santos defeated now #15 ranked, Chelsea Chandler in April of last year and most recently defeated #13 ranked, Miesha Tate on May 3rd. This fight makes a lot of sense for both women at this point in their careers and would be extremely relevant to the women’s #5-10 rankings.

Chiasson’s next fight: Yana Santos

Dusko Todorovic

Zach Reese out-damaged his opponent, Dusko Todorovic, on his way to a unanimous decision victory to open the main card of UFC Vegas 107 on Saturday. Dusko has now lost three fights in a row and is 3-6 with the promotion. None of Todorovic’s victories are still with the promotion (Dequan Townsend, Maki Pitolo, Jordan Wright). Though it’s worth noting that Dusko does have a 2018 first round stoppage victory over Michel Pereira for the SBC middleweight championship. The 2019 Contender Series alum is definitely on the hot seat. But it might take one more loss to get him cut from the UFC’s barren middleweight division.

The fight to make next would be for Dusko to take on Dustin Stolzfus. Sticking to a pick in a previous edition of losers, especially after the clinch-heavy, grappling-type performance turned in by Todorovic on Saturday. Dusko should fight Dustin Stolzfus next. Stolzfus is also 3-6 with the promotion. Though two of his victories are still with the UFC (Punahele Soriano, Marc-Andre Barriault, but not Dwight Grant). Dustin also competed on the Contender Series and the two share a common opponent in Punahele Soriano.

This fight has barn burner written all over it, and there would be a high chance of a finish. Two guys with high-action, all-out styles that aren’t afraid to mix the arts. A good fight to make for the fans. Timing would match up as well as Dustin just lost a unaimous decision to Nursulton Ruziboev on May 17th. Loser might get cut.

Todorovic’s next fight: Dustin Stolzfus

Mateusz Gamrot ended a somewhat lengthy layoff that saw him struggle to secure opponents when he took on L’udovit Klein in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 107 on Saturday.

The pairing was an opportunity for the unranked Klein to both extended an impressive win streak and land a number next to his name. For Gamrot, it was just about staying busy after being sidelined for no good reason. Trying to prove he was still amongst the division’s elite, the betting favorite Gamrot was looking to get back in the win column after dropping a split decision against Dan Hooker.

To start the first round Gamrot pressed forward as Klein retreated, landing a quality jab off the back foot. Klein threw threatening punches but Gamrot quickly got to the clinch and forced the fight to the fence. Against the cage Gamrot was able to secure a takedown where he remained in control for over two minutes in the round. Klein looked explosive on the feet, but was unable to keep himself standing in the opening five minutes.

Immediately to start the second round Gamrot came out looking to secure another takedown. Inside the first thirty seconds, Gamrot was able to grab Klein’s leg and again drag his opponent to the ground. This was a a signature grappling performance from Gamrot who has some of the best top control and cardiovascular conditioning in the division. For the next three minutes Gamrot remained in full guard landing quality ground and pound, suffocating his opponent with pressure on top. Klein attempted to scramble to his feet with a minute remaining and Gamrot landed a glancing head kick on the break. Klein attempted a spinning back kick in the last ten seconds, but Gamrot saw the strike coming and got out of danger.

Down two rounds L’udovit Klein needed a finish to earn a victory in this contest. Gamrot shot for a takedown in the first thirty seconds but Klein defended returning to his feet. Klein started to pressure Gamrot to the fence and landed a knee that momentarily dropped the Polish Contender. Gamrot circled to the center of the cage, as Klein landed a solid kick to the body. Fighting out of the southpaw stance, Klein landed a straight left and knee to the body in the final frame. Gamrot forced a scramble with 90 seconds remaining in the round and landed another takedown. Forcing his way to a dominant position, Gamrot was able to landed damaging elbows as the final horn sounded.

After three rounds the judges all scored the fight for Gamrot unanimously. Winner in four of his last five fight, Gamrot put on a dominant performance proving he is one of the best wrestlers in the Lightweight division. In his post fight interview Gamrot said he wanted to fight multiple different competitors at 155 pounds “Everybody… Everybody.. Hooker in the future, Benoit Saint Denis in Paris.. Give me this guy!”

Official Result: Mateusz Gamrot def. L’udovit Klein by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

In fact he’s calling his shot.

“He’s really tough opponent. He has a good wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu game,” Klein told reporters on Wednesday.

“He is good striking, but I feel I’m ready for him. Challenging him, and (I’ll) beat him. Yeah.”

The Slovakian fighter has been in the UFC since 2020 putting together a 7-2-1 record. He’s been calling for a fight with a ranked opponent, and finally gets his wish at the UFC APEX this weekend.

“Yes that’s my goal. It’s a dream come true. I waiting for long time for opponent from the top 15. Now I have opponent from top ten,” he said.

“It’s a big thing for me and for my country. I’m ready to be there.”

Called his shot, and even added a bit of sauce to it. Is this Babe Ruth pointing to the sky calling his home run shot?

Maybe.

“In my mind I see victory in the first round,” said Klein.

“Because I want to be the first guy who finish Mateusz Gamrot.”

A lightweight fight deserving of a full house of fans will instead play out at the Apex next month as part of UFC Vegas 107.

Mateusz Gamrot (24-3, 1NC), ranked #7 in the 155lb division, will face L’udovit Klein (23-4-1) at the UFC’s Fight Night event on May 31, 2025.

Promotion officials announced the booking on Thursday, ending considerable speculation about who Gamrot would face next.

Poland’s Gamrot, a.k.a. “Gamer,” last competed in August of 2024, losing a split decision against Dan “The Hangman” Hooker. That loss snapped a three-fight win streak the Pole had put together, a run that included victories over the popular Rafael Fiziev, and former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.

Given he’s not yet ranked in the top 15, L’udovit Klein drawing the former KSW champ might come as a surprise. Or perhaps not, as the Slovakian has not lost a fight since 2021. He’s currently on a seven-fight unbeaten streak, with six wins and a draw in that stretch. A win over Gamrot would almost certainly see him break into the top 15 at 155lbs.

UFC Vegas 107 on May 31, 2025 currently features the following reported match-ups:

Erin Blanchfield vs. Maycee Barber

Ramiz Brahimaj vs. Oban Elliott

Zachary Reese vs. Duško Todorović

Rayanne dos Santos vs. Alice Ardelean

Jeremiah Wells vs. Andreas Gustafsson

Allan Nascimento vs. Jafel Filho

Dustin Jacoby vs. Bruno Lopes

Ketlen Vieira vs. Macy Chiasson

Ko Seok-hyun vs. Billy Ray Goff

Mateusz Gamrot vs. Ľudovít Klein

Paris – UFC lightweights were on deck at UFC Paris on Saturday as Ludovit Klein and Roosevelt Roberts battled it out in France.

Klein (22-4-1) came in with a 6-2-1 UFC record. The lightweight has been in the UFC for about four years but already has 6 victories over names like Ignacio Bahamondes and Thiago Moises to name a couple. He looked to extend his win streak to four against Roberts.

Roberts (12-4) rode into UFC Paris needing a victory over Klein. He came into the fight on a two-fight losing streak with a loss at TUF 31 against Austin Hubbard and Mateusz Rebecki at UFC 295 respectively.

Round 1 Klein came out firing leg kicks immediately to make up for the height disadvantage he has against Roberts. Roberts tried to smother the kicks with forward pressure, but Klein was ok with it and fired off hands up top.

Roberts clearly wanted the clinch but he kept on eating elbows up top for his troubles. Klein meanwhile was happy to let his opponent eat leg kicks repeatedly and then elbows in close. Roberts tried a takedown as time ran out, but was unsuccessful.

Round 2 Klein took Roberts down rather quickly here, Roberts tried to grab an arm, but Klein stayed on him with pressure and strikes.

Roberts fired hammers back at Klein, but his opponent refused to back up. Roberts finally got his guard back. Roberts looked like he was trying to get his hips higher to go for a submission, or sweep, but he ate a healthy helping of hands and elbows up top at the same time.

Klein got to his feet, dropped back down into side control, but Roberts was able to get his guard back. Klein’s pressure on top, and stacking Roberts at the same time, made it very hard to create distance.

Round 3 Roberts came out with some urgency taking it to Klein, but it was much more patient. Klein with a quick takedown and it wasn’t looking good for Roberts who was unable to push Klein off him in the second round.

Klein with elbows up top and all the pressure you could want up top. Roberts got to his knees and feet however and back on the fence. Roberts pushed Klein off him and shot in for his own takedown but couldn’t land it. Instead getting taken down again and Klein landing up top. Roberts firing off elbows just doing anything he can to try and finish.

Time ran out on both men and the fight went to the judges.

Official Result: Ludovit Klein def. Roosevelt Roberts via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28×2)

Capping off the UFC Louisville preliminary card, Brazilian lightweight Thiago Moises looked to make it two wins in a row against the rising L’udovit Klein.

Slovakia’s Klein was 4-0-1 in his last five UFC fights, and coming off a win over A.J. Cunningham.

The fight began with the two men both taking a measured approach and feeling each other out. Klein landed a couple of kicks and Moises returned with a few of his own showing a slight speed disadvantage. Nearly midway thru the round and Moises shot for a takedown. Klein was able to sprawl, clinch and sperate as the two men again fought at range. With less than 90 seconds left in the round, Moises landed a couple of leg kicks. Klein landed a flush left hand to the chin of Moises that floored him after a delay. Thiago was able to find a way to his feet inside of the clinch but looked badly hurt as the round ended.

The second round started with both men again taking measured approaches. Klein slid out of range and threw a kick that hit the cup of his opponent. The action stopped momentarily before resuming to Klein landing a solid punch combination. Moises again shot for a takedown and Klein successfully sprawled again. Moises landed a nice punch kick combination before Klein came back with a couple of hard kicks of his own. Nearly midway thru the round, Moises landed a leg kick and Klein returned with a multi-punch combination punctuated with a head kick. As the round went on, Klein continued to land hard kicks and put together combinations. Moises again shot a well-timed takedown that was again unsuccessful thanks to a sprawl from Klein. With about 30 seconds left, Klein successfully landed a single leg takedown in the center of the octagon. Moises was able to momentarily threaten Klein with a knee bar. When Klein escaped, he landed hard ground and pound as the round ended.

To start the final round Klein again went back to a hard leg kick and was forced to block a head kick from his opponent. 30 seconds in and Klein lands another teep to the cup resulting in a momentary break in the action. As action resumed, after about a minute, Moises attempted another double leg takedown and was again unsuccessful. The two fighters ended up in a clinch as Moises landed some solid knees and elbows. Moises missed yet another takedown as the pair separated.

With nearly two minutes left in the round, Moises was able to momentarily get Klein to the ground with a wrestling sequence ending in a throw. Thiago was not able to hold Klein on the ground and after a brief period clinched against the cage, as the fight was back in space a few seconds later. With nearly a minute left in the round, Klein landed a nasty knee to the body of Moises which crumpled him. Klein swarmed on Moises on the ground but was not able to get many punches past his guard. In the waning seconds of the fight, Klein was on top landing some decent ground and pound to his opponent.

The second straight lightweight scrap to kick off UFC Vegas 87 on Saturday saw AJ Cunningham stepping in to face L’udovit Klein on short notice.

Cunningham, an LFA vet, had come up short on the Contender Series against Steven Nguyen, but had since returned to the win column with a first-round TKO on the regional circuit in December.

Klein got it started with a head kick that did land. Cunningham returned with a kick that Klein caught and got the takedown. Cunningham got back up but took a body shot in return. Those body shots would be key. They clashed again and Klein got Cunningham against the cage and landed a knee up top. Cunningham did get some respect with a body kick but Klein was composed. Klein was fast with his punches landing combinations.

AJ Cunningham was showing toughness and was throwing back. The hand speed of Klein was evident and was landing about everything he was throwing. The shot selection of Klein was on point mixing up his striking patterns. He was paying attention to the body and it was taking a toll on Cunningham. Klein saw him breaking so he picked it up throwing punches to the body, to the head, a head kick, and then a teep to the body putting Cunningham away.

Official Result: Ľudovít Klein def. AJ Cunningham by TKO (punches and body kick), Round 1, 4:36

For the first time in over four years the UFC returned to Nashville, Tennessee, this past Saturday, as ranked bantamweights clashed in the UFC Nashville main event.

The originally scheduled main event was between Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov, but just a few weeks out from fight night, Nurmagomedov pulled out due to injury. The ever game Rob Font stepped in on short notice to save the event whilst also looking to register back-to-back wins for the first time since 2021.

Let’s take a look at what could be next for the winners of the night.

Cory Sandhagen

The 31-year-old continues to improve at the highest level against tough competition. In his last fight against “Chito” Vera, Sandhagen showed glimpses of his high level wrestling and grappling control, something he was less known for due to his exemplary striking.

A similar theme continued in his fight with Font. From the opening round it was clear that Sandhagen’s main priority in this fight was to get it to the ground where he could control and try and work submissions. Having being preparing for a very high level wrestler in Umar Nurmagomedov, it is likely that a lot of Sandhagen’s camp was geared towards that area of the fight. Not only that, but that Coloradan was coming into this bout with an injury to his elbow.

Despite that, the fight that proceeded didn’t sit well with the fans as for the majority of the 25 minute main event, the 17,000 fans in attendance booed. As well as that, Dana White reportedly walked out of the arena during the fourth round.

Sandhagen was the one who was getting in there with an injury and putting his ranking at risk and despite how the win came, he is now riding a three fight win streak.

In just a few weeks time the bantamweight title will be put on the line at UFC 292, as champion Sterling takes on challenger, Sean O’Malley. With this likely being Sterling’s last fight in the 135lb division, regardless of the result, it could result in a vacant bantamweight title.

However, due to the nature of his win on Saturday night, it is unlikely that Sandhagen’s next fight will be for Gold. Unfortunately for Sandhagen, I would not be surprised to see him rebooked with Umar Nurmagomedov.

Sandhagen’s Next Fight: Umar Nurmagomedov

Tatiana Suarez

Fighting back at 115lbs for the first time in four years, Tatiana Suarez showed that she is immediately a title challenger in this division.

After dominating Jessica Andrade in seemingly simple fashion, Suarez stormed around the Octagon almost like she wanted to step right back in there to fight again. There is no doubt that Suarez could be next to fight for the title, but that would all depend on how soon she wanted to get back in there.

After being inactive for over four years, it is likely that the 32-year-old will want to keep her momentum going and fight for a third time this year. If that is the case, there are a few options for the dominant wrestler.

Depending on the availability of Jandiroba, that fight could be re-booked for later in the year. Failing that a number one contender fight between Yan Xiaonan and Suarez could headline a fight night card or be included in a big PPV card towards the years end.

Tatiana Suarez’s Next Fight: Yan Xiaonan

Dustin Jacoby

“The Hanyak” caused a big upset with a first round knockout over the dominant, Kennedy Nzechukwu, snapping his two fight losing streak in the process.

Jacoby still finds himself in the rankings at 205lbs and in his Octagon interview he mentioned how he wants a fight up the rankings in his next fight, as in his prior few, he has had to defend his ranking. The 35-year-old did call for a fight with Volkan Oezdemir, but the Swiss is already booked to fight Murzakanov. Unfortunately for Jacoby, the fighters ranked near him but above him are already booked.

Depending on what Dominick Reyes decides to do, that could be a fight that the UFC entertain. Failing that, a rematch with Khalil Rountree Jr could be on the cards as their first fight ended in a split decision, with the large majority of fans believing Jacoby was unlucky to not get the nod.

However, the fight I’m going to pick out is one that depends on a certain result of a 205lb fight at UFC 293. Carlos Ulberg is scheduled to take on Da Un Jung, and if the “Black Jag” is victorious, I would love to see a matchup between Ulberg and Jacoby.

Jacoby’s Next Fight: Carlos Ulberg (If Ulberg is victorious at UFC 293)

Diego Lopes

In just two UFC fights, Diego Lopes has found himself as one of the fans’ favourites, and with a win over Gavin Tucker this past weekend, he’s became even more popular.

With his UFC debut being a late notice fight against Movsar Evloev and him having put on a very competitive showing, Lopes came into this one with momentum, despite the loss. Tucker on the other-hand had been inactive for over two years with Lopes being a tough comeback fight for the Canadian.

Lopes once again displayed his exciting fight style and incredible grappling prowess, submitting Tucker in the first round. Arguably Lopes could fight a ranked opponent in his next fight, but the UFC will likely match him up just outside the rankings for his next few.

Jack Shore has recently moved up to 145lbs and with similar grappling styles, this could make for a fun matchup.

Lopes’ Next Fight: Jack Shore

Tanner Boser

After moving down to the light heavyweight division in his last fight, Tanner Boser was looking to bounce back from his 205lb debut loss against Aleksa Camur.

“The Bulldozer” did just that by beating the Contender Series alum over a three round decision. After snapping his two fight losing streak, Boser will likely take another fight down the rankings to build on his momentum.

The positive for Boser is that the light heavyweight division isn’t very deep, meaning if he accrues a few wins on the bounce, he could find himself on the precipice of the rankings very soon. A win over Devin Clark in his next outing could put him closer to the top 15, and could be a fight that makes sense for both.

Boser’s Next Fight: Devin Clark

L’udovit Klein

Someone else who registered a win as a slight underdog this past weekend was L’udovit Klein.

Unfortunately for Klein, his last fight at UFC 286 resulted in a majority draw with Jai Herbert, putting a halt to his momentum of winning back-to-back fights prior to that. After an impressive showing this past weekend, there are tonnes of options for “Mr Highlight” in an always stacked lightweight division.

Klein still has a lot to prove at the top level and will likely still find himself quite far away from fighting in the rankings. Someone who made a great first impression in their full UFC debut was Nurullo Aliev. A fight between these two could make for a very fun matchup.

Klein’s Next Fight: Nurullo Aliev
