The PFL will be heading across the pond for two dates for the current 2022 season.

On Tuesday morning, the Professional Fighters League announced that the promotion will be going to the UK for two events in the current 2022 season playoffs.  The playoffs will begin on August 05 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York before heading to the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales on August 13 and conclude in London, England at the Copperbox Arena on August 20.  The promotion announced the move with a press conference featuring UK standout Brendan Loughnane, former Bellator champion Rory MacDonald, Simeon Powell, and two-time Olympic gold medalists Kayla Harrison and Claressa Shields.

The events will be held in partnership with the music and entertainment promoter Live Nation which has put on converts from Kendrick Lamar, Halsey, Machine Gun Kelly, and several others.

PFL CEO Peter Murray said of the move:

“We’re thrilled to announce our international partnership with Live Nation as the world’s top music and entertainment promoter makes its move into the world’s fastest growing sport.  MMA fans in the United Kingdom will experience PFL’s star fighters battle it out for a shot at the PFL World Championship and the $6 million dollar prize money.”

The current PFL season resumes on June 17 in Atlanta, Georgia.
