First up, the fights that won’t be happening. Adriano Rodrigues missed weight by a whopping 7.8 pounds for a 195lb catchweight bout with Renato Valente. Not to be outdone, Alex Arteaga missed weight by a mind-boggling 8.2 pounds for his featherweight fight with Isaac Thomson, resulting in that bout being scratched as well.

That will no doubt be a weigh-in all involved would like to quickly forget.

In the LFA 161 main event, meanwhile, prospects Cody Davis and Igor Siqueira threw down for the promotion’s vacant 125lb title. In the co-main event, Jordan “I’m Gonna” Winski looked to do just that against Brazil’s Rafael Do Nascimento in a bantamweight bout. Winski was looking to bounce back from a loss to Brett Johns under the Bellator MMA banner.
