ONE: Winter Warriors II gets underway Friday, December 17 at 7:30AM ET. Full results from the promotion’s final card of the year can be found below. Where available, a live stream of the action can be viewed above.

ONE Championship’s final card of 2020 aired on Christmas Day. Leaving a little violence under the tree, the six-fight Collision Course II was actually taped earlier in the month at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

In the main event, Muay Thai action saw Jamal Yusupov go the distance with promotional veteran Samy Sana, with Yusupov earning a unanimous decision victory. On the MMA side of things, former flyweight champion Kairat Akhmetov returned to action for the first time in well over a year. The Kazakhstani fighter also took home a unanimous decision win, as he defeated South Korea’s Dae Hwan Kim.

With a showdown between Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Adriano Moraes penciled in for February, where Akhmetov stands in the division remains to be seen. But if he keeps on winning, he could see himself fast-tracked to a bout with the winner of that championship pairing.

Full results from ONE Championship: Collision Course II and a gallery of highlights can be found below.

ONE Championship: Collision Course II Results:

Jamal Yusupov def. Samy Sana by unanimous decision – Muay Thai
Kairat Akhmetov def. Dae Hwan Kim by unanimous decision
Momotaro def. Walter Goncalves by TKO, Round 2, 0:30 – Muay Thai
Dae Sung Park def. Amir Khan by split decision
Raimond Magomedaliev def. Edson Marques by knockout, Round 1, 1:52
Senzo Ikeda def. Liang Hui by unanimous decision

After a devastating setback in his ONE Championship debut, former UFC and Bellator MMA lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will return at Dawn of Heroes in August, joining Demetrious Johnson on what looks to be a stacked card.

ONE Championship will return to the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on August 2. When they do, they’ll be bringing two of their big pickups with them. Both Eddie Alvarez and Demetrious Johnson will appear on the Dawn of Heroes card, but neither will serve as the main event. That honor goes to Jonathan Haggerty, who will defend his flyweight Muay Thai title against Thailand’s Rodtang “Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.

Haggerty won titles in Britain and mainland Europe in Muay Thai, before defeating Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in May to win ONE’s flyweight title.

The co-main event, meanwhile, will see Eddie Alvarez (29–7 (1)) get a second go under the ONE banner. It will be no easy feat, however, as ‘The Underground King’ has been paired up with the Philippines’ own Eduard Folayang. Folayang (21-7) is a former two-time ONE lightweight champion, whose second reign was ended last time out when he lost the belt to Shinya Aoki.

Alvarez himself has lost two straight, to Dustin Poirier at UFC Calgary in 2018, and most recently against Timofey Nastyukhin at ONE Championship: A New Era in Tokyo this past March. The Nastyukhin loss was a devastating knockout that left Alvarez with a nasty eye injury.

Earlier in the night, Demetrious Johnson will continue on in the ONE flyweight world grand prix. ‘Mighty Mouse’ was victorious in the opening round of the tournament at A New Era, defeating Yuya Wakamatsu via second round submission.

At ONE Championship: Dawn of Heroes, Johnson (28–3–1) will face Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada. Wada (21-10-2, 1 NC) is a two-time DEEP flyweight champion, who has also fought under the RIZIN FF banner. He’s 2-2 in ONE, and won his opening round bout against Gustavo Balart.

Also appearing on the Dawn of Heroes card, Danny Kingad (12-1) will meet Kairat Akhmetov (26-2) in the second ONE world flyweight grand prix semi-final fight.

The ONE Championship: Dawn of Heroes card currently breaks down as follows:

ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship
Jonathan Haggerty (C) vs Rodtang Jitmuangnon
ONE Super Series Muay Thai (4oz. gloves): 61.2kg

Eduard Folayang vs Eddie Alvarez
Mixed Martial Arts: 77.1kg

ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Semi-Finals
Demetrious Johnson vs Tatsumitsu Wada
Mixed Martial Arts: 61.2kg

ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Semi-Finals
Danny Kingad vs Kairat Akhmetov
Mixed Martial Arts: 61.2kg

ONE Championship has announced its return to the Philippines — and it’s just weeks away!

In a press release distributed on Wednesday, Asian MMA outfit ONE Championship announced that it would be returning to the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila later this month. ONE Championship: Global Superheroes will take place January 26, and feature an interim flyweight title fight between Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio and Kairat Akhmetov. Akhmetov is a former ONE flyweight champion who suffered his first loss when he lost the title to Adriano Martins in August, after winning the belt from the Brazilian in his previous bout.

Akhmetov (24-1) bounced back with a win over Geje Eustaquio at ONE Championship: Total Victory in September. Now, the pair will clash again in a rematch of that split decision, this time with interim flyweight gold on the line.

Eustaquio (9-6) is 2-2 in his last four bouts, all of which have come under the ONE banner. Prior to the Akhmetov loss, he picked up a split decision win over Anatpong Bunrad at ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes last May.

Also booked for the Global Superheroes card in Manila are strawweights Joshua Pacio and Pongsiri Mitsatit. Mitsatit (9-0) will be putting his perfect record on the line against The Philippines’ own Pacio (10-2). And at featherweight, Eric Kelly (12-4) will face Brazil’s Rafael Nunes (10-1). Kelly will be looking to snap a three fight losing streak in ONE Championship.

Additional fights set for ONE Championship: Global Superheroes include:

Sotir Kichukov vs. Ma Hao Bin.
Yago Bryan vs. Hayato Suzuki
Bruno Pucci vs. Emilio Urrutia
Edward Kelly vs. Meas Meul
Rajinder Singh Meena vs. Zhang Ze Hao

ONE Championship returned to Jakarta, Indonesia on Saturday with their most recent event, Total Victory. Featuring a main event showdown between former flyweight champion Kairat Akhmetov and Geje Eustaquio, the event turned out to be an exciting night of fights (or morning, if you got up in the west to take in the action). Not sticking entirely to MMA, the show also saw a traditional Silat bout open the festivities.

In the main event, Kairat Akhmetov edged out Geje Eustaquio by split decision in a three round battle which put the ex-champ back in the win column. With every other bout on the main card ending in a finish, there were plenty of stand-outs to choose from, but perhaps heavyweight Alain Ngalani stood out most, crushing Japan’s Hideki Sekine with a single punch as the Japanese heavyweight charged towards him, looking for a takedown.

Also of note, Roy Doliguez capped off a fantastic scrap with a come from behind knockout of Brazil’s Yago Bryan in the third and final round of their strawweight contest.

You can catch up on all the action from ONE Championship: Total Victory here.

And be sure to check out the gallery below for photo highlights from all of the night’s action, courtesy of ONE Championship!

ONE Championship returned to Jakarta, Indonesia on Saturday with ONE Championship: Total Victory. Featuring a main event of former flyweight champ Kairat Akhmetov taking on Philippine’s Geje Eustaquio, the event lacked a title fight at the top, but was focused on setting up future challengers in the 125lb division. In the co-main event of the evening, Indonesia’s own Stefer Rahardian squared off in another flyweight battle against Cambodia’s Sim Bunsrun.

Elsewhere on the card, heavyweight Alain Ngalani was set to do battle with Japan’s Hideki Sekine.

The action got underway bright and early in the west, airing on PPV via ONE and The Fight Network in Canada.

Check back come fight time for results and a full main card recap from ONE Championship: Total Victory!

Phat Soda vs. Adrian Matheis

Strawweight action kicked off the ONE Championship: Total Victory card as Cambodia’s Phat Soda took on ONE Championship Indonesian strawweight tournament winner Adrian Matheis.

To the adoration of the crowd, the pair exchanged early, throwing heavy leather before a takedown by the fence saw Soda land on top, in Matheis’ guard. They were back to the feet in a flash, however, but Soda again worked for a takedown and wound up right back in his opponent’s guard. An exciting scramble led to Matheis on top looking for a submission while Soda employed a rubber guard; he began looking for a triangle as he snuck his leg up towards his opponent’s neck. However, Matheis broke free, landed some ground and pound, then swiftly took the back of Phat Soda and dragged him to the canvas, where he locked in the rear-naked choke. Soda was out, and the ref waved it off instantly!

Adrian Matheis def. Phat Soda by submission, Round 1, 3:11

Liu De Li Ge Ri Hu vs. Ramon Gonzales

A striker vs. grappler bout at flyweight was next up on the card, as China’s Liu De Li Ge Ri Hu faced Philippines’ Ramon Gonzales. Gonzales held the center of the cage early and pressed the action, but a low blow paused the affair early. Once the fight was back underway, the same pattern played out, with the Chinese fighter sitting back, and Gonzales controlling the cage. Just past the halfway mark, Liu clinched and managed a throw to score the takedown, but Gonzales landed on top. Gonzales would struggle to make anything happen at first, but as the final minute arrived he managed to get in sound ground and pound and take the back. Liu fought his way up and actually pulled guard for a guillotine attempt that immediately fell through, but it did succeed in getting him out of harm’s way. Gonzales finished the round with a flashy rolling thunder kick, and while it didn’t land flush he likely took the round anyway.

Round two again started tentative, but Gonzales finished a takedown near the three minute mark as Liu tried to lock in a guillotine. Once on the ground, Gonzales wasted little time locking in an arm triangle choke that gave him the finish!

Jeremy Meciaz vs. Hisyam Samsudin

A crazy start saw Meciaz and Samsudin swinging for the fences the moment the bell sounded to open their featherweight fight. Thirty seconds in, Samsudin put Meciaz on his back. A leg lock attempt, and a knee bar attempt, followed. Hisyam Samsudin then broke free, landed several knees to the head of Meciaz, then added in some elbows that forced the ref to wave the fight off. Wow, total violence from start to finish!

Yago Bryan vs. Roy Doliguez

In strawweight action, Brazil’s Yago Bryan was on the attack while Roy Doliguez looked to counter early in the first round of their main card battle. At the three minute mark an exchange led to a Bryan grabbing a body lock, which in turn saw him land a takedown and wind up in Doliguez’s guard. Against the fence, Bryan was looking for room to work, while Doliguez threw some short punches from the bottom but could not wall walk or otherwise escape. He’d stay on his back until the dying moments of the ground, and Bryan was clearly up after the first.

Round two saw similar action on the feet, and again Yago Bryan was able to secure a body lock that let him throw Doliguez to the canvas. This time, Doliguez tried to scramble back to his feet, but initially met a charging Bryan. Doliguez would manage to scamper backwards and get back up, but was saddled with a yellow card by the ref for his retreat. Back on the feet, some fantastic combinations by both fighters kept the action consistent, and resulted in a closer round than the first.

In the third, Roy Doliguez was swinging hard, and added a front kick and other attacks, only to slip and land on his back less than a minute in. As Bryan moved into his guard, Doliguez landed some elbows to the head, and before long they were back on the feet.A clinch led to Bryan landing a knee to the body, and he was controlling the cage for the most part. Doliguez was looking to land body shots, and added the odd leg kick. Just when things were looking their bleakest for Roy Doliguez, he fired off a straight left hand that dropped Bryan! Bryan was knocked to the ground and looked stunned, he appeared to be recovering but the ref waved it off.

Roy Doliguez def. Yago Bryan by KO, Round 3, 2:58

Alain Ngalani vs. Hideki Sekine

Japanese heavyweight Sekine opted to chase Ngalani around the cage early, looking for the takedown. Not surprisingly, Ngalani landed a hard power punch while backpedaling, a right hand that had the added force of Sekine running right into it. Shades of Fabricio Werdum rushing Stipe Miocic there. Sekine hit the mat like a fallen tree.

Stefer Rahardian vs. Sim Bunsrun

Stefer Rahardian rushed out early, and after a brief feeling out period on the feet the Indonesian flyweight secured a takedown on Sim Bunsrun. With Rahardian in mount, Bunsrun gave up his back, and that allowed Rhahardian to get his hooks in and secure a rear-naked choke.

Stefer Rahardian def. Sim Bunsrun by submission (rear-naked choke), Round 1, 1:07

Kairat Akhmetov vs. Geje Eustaquio

Former flyweight champion Kairat Akhmetov made a quick turnaround, fighting just a couple months after losing his ONE Championship title. Opposite him in Jakarta on Saturday was promotional standout Geje Eustaquio.

With a touch of the gloves the three-round main event was underway. Akhmetov threw a high side kick early, but missed. The pair spent the opening minute mostly feeling each other out. Akhmetov then threw a kick that Eustaquio was able to duck under, allowing him to score a takedown. The former champ kept an open guard, and before long was back on his feet. Akhmetov then opted to fall back on his own wrestling, pressing Eustaquio up against the fence. Consistent pressure from Ahhmetov resulted in an eventual takedown, with the former champ on top. An upkick from Eustaquio then caught Akhmetov and stunned him! However, the ref stopped the action and granted Akhmetov and injury timeout, despite the upkick appearing to be legal. He then restarted the action in the center of the cage. That allowed Akhmetov time to recover, and he would come back with one more takedown. The upkick was the biggest moment of the round, and the pause in the action killed Eustaquio’s momentum sadly.

Round two saw Akhmetov go back to his wrestling once more, taking the fight down again and working from Eustaquio’s guard. However, he appeared to be extra wary of his opponent’s upkicks, for good reason. From there, Akhmetov was able to land from ground and pound including some harsh elbows. Eustaquio would make it back to his feet, but a single leg takedown put him right back on the mat a short time later.

In the third, Eustaquio looked to make a statement early with a cartwheel and jump kick that ultimately failed to land. Akhmetov had his right hand loaded up, and whiffed on a big punch. He would land a kick to the body moments later, then catch Eustaquio, dropping him. Akhmetov followed him down and eventually took the back, looking to get his hooks in. Eustaquio, however, escaped, and was then able to take Akhmetov down. That may have been unwise, as he gave up his neck for a guilltoine attempt. Eustaquio would break free with just under a minute remaining in the fight! He worked to posture up and land some shots from above, while Akhmetov threw elbows and short punches from his back. In the end, it would go to the judges’ scorecards, resulting in a split decision for Kairat Akhmetov.

ONE Championship has announced the headliner for its return to Indonesia next month. As per a press release Tuesday from the Asian MMA promotion, former ONE flyweight world champion Kairat Akhmetov will make a quick turnaround and take on Geje Eustaquio at the event, ONE Championship: Total Victory. The card will go down September 16 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Indonesia.

In his first fight since November 2015, Kairat Akhmetov lost the ONE flyweight title earlier this month in a unanimous decision loss to interim title holder Adriano Moraes. For Akhmetov (20-1), it was the first loss of his professional career. With the series between the former champ and Moraes tied at one win a piece, a rubber match would seem to be brewing. First, Akhmetov will need to get back on track against Eustaquio.

Geje Eustaquio (9-5), meanwhile, enters ONE Championship: Total Victory off a split decision win against Anatpong Bunrad in May. He’ll try to build a two-fight win streak and put himself in title contention with an upset victory over the former champion.

ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said of the event that “Jakarta has remained one of ONE Championship’s most exciting destinations. The bustling capital city of Indonesia provides a perfect backdrop for our unique brand of world-class authentic martial arts action. An amazing event is planned for fans in Jakarta, as we bring to you a tremendous clash between two top flyweights in Kairat Akhmetov and Geje Eustaquio. It’s going to be another awesome evening of compelling bouts, so join us as we broadcast live around the world!”

In regards to bouncing back, Akhmetov was quoted as saying “I am excited to get back in the cage and compete. Defeat is part of this game, the important thing is to come back better. The body is ready, the mind is strong, and the spirit is willing. [Geje] Eustaquio is one of the best competitors in the division and a victory over him will mean a lot. I have one goal, and that is to get back my title. I will take care of anyone who stands in my way.”

Additional bouts are expected to be announced for the card at a later date.

ONE Championship recently postponed its event in Indonesia at the end of July, but that doesn’t mean that fans won’t get to see the planned main event for that card soon. As per a press release from the Asian MMA promotion released today, Kairat Akhmetov will face Adriano Moraes on August 5 at ONE Championship: Kings and Conquerors. The pair will meet to crown the undisputed flyweight champ, as Moraes currently holds interim gold.

Akhmetov (23-0) has not fought since a split decision win over Moraes in November 2015, where he won the flyweight crown. In the meantime, Moraes (15-2) has fought twice, submitting both opponents and capturing interim gold. Akhmetov vs. Moraes will serve as the co-main event for Kings and Conquerors. The previously announced main event pits ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes against American challenger Andrew Leone.

Akhmetov vs. Moraes is not the only addition to the August 5 card however. Bantamweights Toni “Dynamite” Tauru (of Utti, Finland) and Brazil’s Leandro “Brodinho” Issa have also been added to the card. Polish middleweight Marcin Prachnio will take on Gilberto “Giba” Galvão on the card as well.

All three bouts were originally scheduled for the Conquest of Kings card that was to be held in Surabaya, Indonesia at the end of July.

ONE Championship: Kings and Conquerors takes place at the Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao in Macao, China on 5 August.
