The fifth ever BMF title fight headlined UFC 326 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In the main event, Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira got his revenge from the anti-climactic ending of his first meeting with Max Holloway over 10 years ago. While the prelim card was nothing to write home about, the rest of the main card delivered a bounce back performance from Caio Borralho, Raul Rosas Jr’s best win yet, and one-hitter quitter knockouts from Drew Dober and Gregory Rodrigues. With the year’s third numbered event now in the rearview mirror, let’s look at what’s next for the UFC 326 winners.

Charles Oliveira

Unfortunately, Charles Oliveira’s complete domination of Max Holloway won’t get the credit it deserves, because it couldn’t live up to the ethos of the belt the two were fighting for. If this fight was a regular number 1 contender bout, people would be raving about how nobody has ever shut out Max Holloway in this fashion. Alas, we are left with disappointment that two beloved legends didn’t go at each other Rock’em Sock’em robots style.

Oliveira may have earned a title shot in any other division, but it’s hard to picture the UFC throwing him back in there with Ilia Topuria given how the first fight ended. For that reason, I don’t think Do Bronx will simply wait. They could book him against Conor McGregor next, but I’ll believe a McGregor return when I see it. Until then, I see no reason to matchmake for him

The only other name I believe to be a viable one is Benoit Saint Denis. He’s on a four-fight win streak, ranked inside the top five and fights with the energy fans want from a BMF contender.

Oliveira’s next fight: Benoit Saint Denis

Caio Borralho

Reinier de Ridder and Caio Borralho met in a matchup between two top10 contenders looking to bounce back from deflating losses. It was the Brazilian who came out on top, earning 30-27s across the board. Borralho called out Dricus Du Plessis and while that isn’t a bad callout, I’m not sure it will work out timing wise. DDP hasn’t fought since last August, so you have to think he’s chomping at the bits to get back in there.

An April or May return is a fair timeline for Du Plessis’s return, which is probably too soon for Borralho who just went 15 hard minutes with RDR. I think the winner of the upcoming Roman Dolidze vs Christian Leroy Duncan fight would make a fun fight.

Borralho’s next fight: Dolidze/Leroy Duncan winner

Raul Rosas Jr.

Maybe the fact that he came into the UFC as an 18-year-old clouded our judgement of what Raul Rosas Jr‘s career trajectory should’ve looked like by now. Because while it’s undeniably impressive to defeat Rob Font at 21 years of age, Rosas Jr. still only landed eight significant strikes to Font’s ten. This is by far the best name on Rosas Jr.’s resumé, but it’s quite clear that he’s still very green in his development.

Nevertheless, he will enter the rankings come Tuesday’s update and will have no choice but to try and swim with the sharks. I think Marlon Vera is the most rankings-appropriate fight that could be made while also being winnable for Rosas Jr. The UFC could even make it a main event, so as to see whether Rosas Jr.’s cardio can go five rounds.

Rosas Jr.’s next fight: Marlon Vera

Drew Dober

The UFC knew they would have a guaranteed KO when they paired Drew Dober and Michael Johnson together. Unsurprisingly, the fight delivered and ended in the second round when Dober caught Johnson with a clean left hand. Dober is one of those important types of fighters that promotions need. He’s a guaranteed action fight that can help boost any card’s violence quotient. A fight between Dober and Jalin Turner would’ve made sense when they were both ranked a few years ago and it still makes sense now. It’s a perfect prelim fight for International Fight Week.

Dober’s next fight: Jalin Turner

Gregory Rodrigues

After Brunno Ferreira put Gregory Rodrigues to sleep in his UFC debut over three years ago, it was Rodrigues who got his revenge this time around. Hard to be more efficient, as it took “Robocop” only two significant strikes to separate Ferreira from consciousness. Rodrigues has garnered momentum more than once before seeing his win streaks end to Armen Petrosyan, Brunno Ferreira and, most recently, Jared Cannonier. I think Robert Whittaker represents the right kind of test since there are questions surrounding Bobby Knuckles after he lost two consecutive fights for the first time as a middleweight. It would also make for a good co-main event on the upcoming Perth Fight Night card.

Rodrigues’ next fight: Robert Whittaker

Middleweights Caio Borralho and Reinier de Ridder were both looking to return to the win column at UFC 326.

While both were coming off single losses, de Ridder’s rather shocking defeat to short-notice replacement Brendan Allen at UFC Vancouver last year had many questioning his place in the division, and had opened the door to talk about the former ONE Championship double-champ moving up. Talk that RDR himself had taken part in, though during the UFC 326 media day, he put the blame for his last performance on a severe case of anemia.

Round one began with the two middleweights striking in the center of the Octagon, with Reinier de Ridder landing a few low kicks and a straight that cut the Brazilian early in the fight. Caio Borralho responded, partially landing a strike that dropped the Dutch fighter to one knee. The two dangerously exchanged in close, with de Ridder throwing his patented knee, inadvertently landing to the groin of Borralho.

Following the stoppage, de Ridder began building confidence with short bursts of volume. Borralho responded quickly with power straights, once again finding RDR on uncertain legs. Able to regain his balance, de Ridder started to find some success toward the end of the round.

More action followed in round two, as Borralho marched forward and landed a flush right hook to the head of de Ridder. Continuously working the lead leg, Borralho peppered RDR while pressuring the labored Dutchman. When de Ridder attempted to bring the fight to the ground again, Borralho held up well, staying upright along the cage before de Ridder eventually secured control.

Back in the middle of the Octagon, Borralho maintained a confident striking approach, hands down and seemingly unconcerned with de Ridder’s power. However, the momentum began to shift as de Ridder started leading the exchanges, landing a steady amount of volume behind his jab.

Borralho attacked quickly to begin the final round, landing another hook that wobbled de Ridder and forced him to slip while trying to regain balance. RDR answered with a flush knee up the middle, but this time it was Borralho who brought the fight to the ground. In top position, the Brazilian accumulated control time while threatening a triangle choke and shutting down any attempts from the bottom.

De Ridder eventually worked his way back to his feet and landed with conviction late in the round, returning to straight punches and knees in an effort to even the scoring. As the final seconds ticked away, Borralho landed one last hook on de Ridder, strengthening his case for the scorecards.

A closer fight than it initially appeared, Caio Borralho ultimately won all three rounds on every scorecard, earning a unanimous decision victory over Reinier de Ridder and handing RDR his second consecutive loss.

“It’s comeback season,” Borralho exclaimed in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan after getting his hand raised. The Fighting Nerds appear back on track, and Borralho has Dricus Du Plessis on his mind.

With the win, Caio Borralho moves to 18-2 and 7-1 in his UFC career, while Reinier de Ridder drops to 21-4 and 4-2 in the UFC.

Official Result: Caio Borralho def. Reinier de Ridder by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Back in September, Caio Borralho entered the UFC Paris main event with a perfect 8-0 record in the UFC. After five hard-fought rounds, he found himself of the wrong end of a decision for the first time since signing on the dotted line with Zuffa.

As the expression in goes in MMA, you either win and you learn. Borralho feels that the setback helped him learn about where he was personally and what he needed to change moving forward.

“I just needed to focus on my personal life. Internally, I needed to get this fire back. I wasn’t feeling the same way about MMA, about why I was doing it and all that,” Borralho said. “Right now I think I found it back- the reason is to inspire people, tell my story to people and prove to everyone that resilience and willpower and self-knowledge, that’s the key for you to be successful in your life.”

While doing that for himself and his career is important to him, he also feels that it is important for the MMA community in general.

“I can show people resilience, good stories and keep the young generation, the MMA is developing a lot and I just feel right now I have a lot to give for the for the community, for the young athletes, for the fans and to everyone,” he said. “I got this fire back”

Borralho also felt like the process helped him realize that he needed to rely on his team more than he was. The way that his popularity has risen, he felt like he was being treated more like a master than a pupil.

“I was kind of disconnected from my cause and because the team got so big so fast and things were going on that I became like a big influence on the team,” Borralho explained. “I reunited with my coaches, I told them that I need masters, that I need people that will tell me what to do. It doesn’t matter who I am, if I’m a big influence on the team or not – doesn’t matter. I’m still a soldier and I need to be a soldier for them.”

And being that soldier for them means being pushed that extra bit. Each and every practice, he’s got those voices that are making him go the extra mile, and that has made all the difference.

“I feel that I can be this soldier again, that they can be my masters again – all my three coaches, my three corners, I’m so blessed to have them around me,” he said. “I told [my coach] like, if I’m fucked up, if I’m tired, if I need to do one more round, you need to be the first one to come to me and say, fuck off man, you’re not gonna rest, you’re gonna do this last round, you’re gonna do two more rounds, I don’t care what you’re feeling.”

With all of those changes made, he’s poised to get right back on track this Saturday. He’ll fight Reiner de Ridder, and believes you’ll see the old version of “The Natural” in there once again.

“I would do the same prediction when I fought Paul Craig. I spent the whole camp, all interviews saying that I was going to knock out Paul Craig and I did it in a dominant fashion,” he said. “I think it’s going to be the same thing – I’m going to KO Reiner de Ridder. I’m just going to go there, defend the takedowns, being offensive when it comes to grappling and take my time and finish.”

You can catch his fight with Reiner de Ridder as the co-main event of UFC 326 this Saturday. The fight card begins at 5pn EST on Paramount+.

“Yeah it’s the comeback season and no one’s going to stop that,” Borralho told reporters including Cageside Press on Wednesday.

“We got back with our team, we got the connection back, put our feet on the ground a little bit more. You guys are seeing the results. I just feel proud of the guys, happy for them, and I was the first one to get into the UFC, and I’ll be the last one to complete the comeback season.”

Borralho (17-2) expects the matchup to quickly turn into a battle of strengths, with his opponent likely looking to lean on his grappling advantage. Based on what he’s seen from film study and past performances, he believes the game plan will be clear the moment the fight begins.

“100% he’s going to shoot. If he doesn’t shoot I think he’s out of his mind. He know which guys I strike with already. With (Nassourdine) Imavov, one of the best strikers in the division, look what I did to (Jared) Cannonier. Look what I did to Paul Craig,” he said.

“So 100% he going to try to take me down and choke me. That’s the only way that he can get a win on Saturday. If you see the data, in his last 5 fights, he was already grappling and he (shot) before one minute in every five fights.”

Watch the entire media day scrum with Caio Borralho above. He faces Reinier de Ridder at UFC 326 on Saturday night.

Kicking off this UFC 326 edition of TTP is our interview with UFC middleweight, Caio Borralho. Borralho discusses the tough run for Fighting Nerds at the end of last year and how they have all come storming back. He uses that for inspiration for his own return to the cage as he takes on Reiner de Ridder in the co-main event of UFC 326. He also shares his mentality switch following that last fight and how he feels like he’s in the best position to make another run towards the title. And, of course, he’s breaking down the fight itself.

The UFC’s Q1 2026 schedule is continuing to add bouts, with some big names now joining UFC 326 next March.

On Friday, two new bookings for the Las Vegas-based event were revealed. In one, former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt (14-7) will take on Road to UFC alum Xiao Long (27-10), while in another, Reinier de Ridder (21-3) will look to get back on track opposite Caio Borralho (17-2, 1NC) in a key middleweight fight.

Garbrandt vs. Long was first reported by Eurosport, while de Ridder vs. Borralho was originally revealed by journalist Léo Walker Guimaraes.

de Ridder confirmed his match-up with Borralho on social media following the news breaking.

RDR was last seen headlining UFC Vancouver in October, where he took on short-notice replacement Brendan Allen, stepping in to replace “Fluffy” Hernandez. “The Dutch Knight” had been circling a title shot prior to the bout, but tired quickly and saw his corner throw in the towel following the fourth round.

That setback marked the first of de Ridder’s UFC career. He’s previously earned wins over Bo Nickal, Robert Whittaker, and Kevin Holland, among others. RDR was also a two-division champ in his old home, ONE Championship.

Caio Borrlaho is also coming off a loss, a decision against Nassourdine Imavov that halted his own march to the middleweight belt, now held by Khamzat Chimaev.

As for Garbrandt, he’s dropped two straight to Deiveson Figueiredo and Raoni Barcelos. Those losses snapped a two-fight win streak that saw Garbrandt get the better of Trevin Jones and Brian Kelleher.

While Xiao Long has a wealth of experience on the regional scene, he’s 1-2 in the UFC, and coming off a decision loss to Su Young You.

UFC 326 takes place on March 7, 2026 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is headlined by a “BMF” title fight between Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira. Paulo Costa vs. Brunno Ferreira also features. Eurosport also reported a new fight between Rafael Tobias and Diyar Nurgozhay on Friday.

The fourth UFC event in Paris, France took place nearly three years to date of the promotions very first event in the ‘City of Love’. In the main event of 2025’s UFC Paris card, a pair of top ten middleweights took to the octagon with the higher ranked Nassourdine Imavov exiting with the victory over Caio Borralho.

In the co-main event, ranked lightweights put on a violent battle that concluded with Mauricio Ruffy being submitted by Benoit Saint-Denis. No French fighters on this edition of losers as the countrymen completed the clean sweep. On the other side of that coin, we have a couple of names from the Brazilian Fighting Nerds fight camp gracing this loser’s edition. Lots of former regional champions too!

Caio Borralho

Nassourdine Imavov bested Caio Borralho over the course of five rounds to win a unanimous decision at UFC Paris on Saturday. This was a huge opportunity for Caio, as he entered the fight ranked at #7 within the middleweight division while Imavov was ranked at #2. The loss halted untold amounts of momentum for Borralho as the two-time Contender Series competitor was a perfect 7-0 under the UFC banner heading into the fight.

Because Caio was flawless heading into this matchup, it makes sense to give him a fighter like Israel Adesanya. Izzy is currently ranked at #5 in the division, but fans can expect that ranking to potentially slide in coming months. Israel’s last fight came in February and was also against Nassourdine Imavov. Israel was finished early in the second round of that bout. Caio and Israel also share a common opponent in Jared Cannonier and they both defeated him. This matchup is an easy main event for a fight night card although the timing doesn’t match up the best. Fans would love this fight as its guaranteed to be a striker’s delight.

Caio’s next fight: Israel Adesanya

Mauricio Ruffy

Benoit Saint-Denis submitted Mauricio Ruffy with a nasty face crank in the second round of the co-main event on Saturday. Ruffy entered the fight ranked at #15 within the lightweight division while his opponent was ranked at #13. Ruffy, a 2023 Contender Series product, now falls to 3-1 within the UFC. This was Mauricio’s first loss in nearly six years, dating back to his days of fighting of the Brazilian regional circuit.

For his next fight, Ruffy should take on Brian Ortega. This matchup was mentioned in a previous edition of losers, and it still looks like it’d be a good match-up. The former featherweight title challenger missed weight and looked drained in his most recent fight against Aljamain Sterling last month. Ortega lost a unanimous decision; he’s lost four of his last five but is still ranked at #7 within the featherweight division.

If Ortega elects to move to 155lbs. permanently, this would be a perfect true welcome the division type of fight. A win would do some heavy lifting for both fighters. It’d also give Ruffy another chance to prove himself against an opponent with strong grappling. Dynamic striking vs submission-based grappling, a match made in heaven, for fight fans. This could easily be a co main event on a fight night card.

Mauricio’s next fight: Brian Ortega

Paul Craig

Modestas Bukauskas delivered a violent buzzer-beater finish over Paul Craig at UFC Paris on Saturday. The massive elbow at the buzzer forced the ref to call off the fight- going down officially as a KO at 5:00 of the first round.

Craig, with the loss at UFC Paris, is now 9-10-1, 1 NC with the promotion in nine years. Paul is 0-4, 1 NC in his last five fights. Following the loss, Craig announced his retirement from professional MMA.

Paul’s next fight: Retirement

Bolaji Oki

Mason Jones battered and stopped Bolaji Oki in the second round of their fight on Saturday at UFC Paris. The result brings Oki’s record with the UFC to .500, as he’s now 2-2. The 2023 Contender Series alum has been finished in both of his losses, while both of his victories were decisions. Oki made waves on the regional scene before that, winning the Atomic Fighting Championship before getting a call to the CS.

Good matchup for Bolaji would be Harry Hardwick. Harry just made his promotional debut on the undercard of UFC Paris on Saturday. Hardwick’s calf was brutalized by his opponent, Kaue Fernandes, as he was TKO’d in the first round. Harry was a Cage Warriors featherweight champion, last defending his belt in March. This would be a matchup of unproven European regional champions. Both fighters are in their primes and have had success on the regional level but have been stopped in the UFC. Who can come out on top? Could see this one as a higher-level fight on a preliminary card.

Bolaji’s next fight: Harry Hardwick

Rhys McKee

Axel Sola made the most of his UFC debut and finished Rhys McKee with strikes in the final round of their fight on Saturday. Mckee is now the owner of the abysmal promotional record of 1-5.

McKee made his promotional debut back in 2020 against Khamzat Chimaev, and after another loss he was bounced from the promotion. Fast forward a couple years and the Khamzat loss aged beautifully. McKee is brought back for a second stint. Rhys is now 1-3 said second stint. The former Cage Warriors welterweight champion’s lone victory with the UFC came earlier this year in April against Daniel Frunza.

McKee’s next fight should either be against Andreas Gustafsson or the loser of Rodrigo Sezinando vs Daniil Donchenko. The Sezinando vs Donchenko fight takes place on September 13th. The timing would be perfect, and both men are making their UFC debuts. Both fighters have also held titles on the regional scene (Doncheko-NFC, Sezinando-BFL). Leaning towards giving him the loser of that bout, but if that doesn’t materialize, Andreas Gustafsson is a good backup. Gustafsson was finished in 54 seconds on the undercard of UFC Paris Saturday. The 2024 Contender Series product is now 1-1 with the UFC and would make a fine matchup for Rhys as well. Loser has got to be on the short list to be cut.

McKee’s next fight: Andreas Gustafsson or Rodrigo Sezinando vs Daniil Donchenko loser

Robert Ruchala

William Gomis defeated Robert Ruchala via unanimous decision to open the main card of UFC Paris Saturday. The bout was Robert’s UFC debut coming over from Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW). Robert was even a multiple time interim champ with KSW. With that context, fans might better understand why UFC matchmakers elected to Robert such a tall task for his promotional debut.

Next fight for Robert should be against the loser of Jack Jenkins vs Ramon Taveras. That fight goes down on September 27th, so the timing would match up. Jack Jenkins is 3-2 in the UFC but has lost two of his last three. His only win in that stretch came against Herbert Burns, who is no longer with the promotion. Ramon Taveras is 1-1 with the promotion but is coming up from bantamweight after missing weight in his debut. Both fighters are Contender Series guys that have double digit victories in their pro MMA careers. Loser of this bout would be an excellent litmus test for Robert after he took a fighter like William Gomis to a decision in his debut. A matchup against either fighter should be entertaining and could produce the type of fighter that fans love to watch.

Robert’s next fight: Jack Jenkins vs Ramon Taveras loser

Top ten middleweights Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho closed out UFC Paris at the Accor Arena on Saturday, in a fight that already certain carried title implications with it.

Imavov, to some, had already done enough to warrant a title shot. Borralho, ranked slightly back on the French 185’er, was looking to jump into his spot, all with Reinier de Ridder vs. Anthony Hernandez winning. Almost certainly, the winner of either Imavov vs. Borralho or de Ridder vs. Hernandez was set to be next in line.

Borralho opened with a high kick as the action got underway, working from the outside. Imavov methodically moved forward, blocking another high kick, and firing his right hand. Imavov fired a kick to the thigh, but neither fighter committed on anything big through the opening 90 seconds. Imavov, of course, had to be wary of the takedown.

When Borralho did change levels, Imavov caught him in a headlock; they’d eventually separate, and go back to something of a chess match.

Not a ton if significant strikes from either man in round one. Round two saw Borralho continue to mix up his kicking attacks, before closing the distance with some looping hooks. Imavov remained light on his feet, holding center and fending off the Brazilian’s attacks. Again, when Borralho changed levels looking for a takedown, it wasn’t the most explosive, with Imavov stuffing the attempt. Quite easily at that. The striking opened up after that, Borralho soon showing some damage around the face.

Early in the third, Imavov clipped Borralho coming in, leaving him reeling. The pair clinched up briefly, but stayed standing, no doubt to the advantage of Nassourdine Imavov. Borralho then signaled that he’d been hit low, leading to the ref, Marc Goddard, halting the action. That gave Caio a chance to recover, and once the action resumed, it was Borralho connecting with a left hand. Imavov stumbled a step, but didn’t go down. And moments later, an eye poke landed by Imavov halted the action again.

Following a warning, the pair clinched up; after breaking, Imavov landed at least two or three punches in a combination. There was an argument the fight was 30-27 heading into round four; at best, Borralho might have stolen the third, unlikely as it might seem.

Borralho came out a little more active in round four, mixing up his strikes. Imavov, however, was right there with an answer, his right hand crisp. Just over a minute in, Borralho was grazed by a low blow but chose to fight on without any recovery time. A takedown attempt came closer for Borralho later in the round, but he just couldn’t complete it. Worse, the Brazilian was clearly tiring, while Imavov still looked fresh. Imavov’s punches were crisper, his speed a step quicker.

Round fifth had Caio Borralho in need of a finish in a fight he had been trailing in almost from the outset. But Imavov hadn’t slowed. A couple of minutes in, Borralho managed to land solid, backing Imavov up. Imavov returned fire, and connected with a low kick. His right hand hit the mark again. Borralho was in need of a knockout blow, or a submission. Instead, another eye poke landed on Borralho, halting the action. A hard warning followed but no point deduction. That was no help to Borralho, given how far behind he was trailing. They’d fight to the horn, but no takedown would come, no finish was to be had for the Brazilian. Imavov came on strong at the end, en route to a lopsided victory.

Official Result: Nassourdine Imavov def. Caio Borralo by unanimous decision (50-45, 49-46, 49-46)

The UFC makes its annual visit to Paris, France for this Saturday’s UFC Paris card, a Fight Night event topped by a key middleweight fight between Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho.

Imavov vs. Borralho has obvious title implications, with the winner in prime position to challenge new champ Khamzat Chimaev either in late 2025 or early 2026. That, however, isn’t a guaranteed title shot, as October also sees Reinier de Ridder face Anthony Hernandez in Vancouver. If you look at these fights as an audition in the suddenly wide open 185lb division, then it feels as if the biggest performance will be next in line.

UFC Paris is far from a one-trick pony, however. In an era of Fight Night cards that feel hastily assembled or just plain afterthoughts, the promotion’s return to the Accor Arena in Paris features some solid names – and some hotly anticipated debuts. Among them, former Cage Warriors champ Harry Hardwick, ex-PFL champ Ante Delija, former KSW champ Robert Ruchala, and ARES FC champ Axel Sola.

Weigh-ins for UFC Paris take place Friday morning, full results can be found below.
