This is because Terrill had a tough loss to Gustavo Trujillo at BKB 58 in Miami that was taken on short notice. Mick Terrill will not be able to feasibly turn around for that Sokolowski fight after that defeat in Terrill’s bid for the BKB heavyweight crown.

BKB has now released the complete card for BKB 60, which emanates from the Utilita Arena Newcastle on Saturday, October 10th. This will mark the first fighting foray into Newcastle for BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, and they’re seemingly looking to make a splash in a big way.

BKB’s CEO on Newcastle Foray

In terms of readjusting the hierarchy for this UK-based card in the Fall, BKB’s CEO David Tetreault said:

“We originally announced Newcastle with Mick Terrill headlining in his hometown, and there is no version of this card we wanted more.”

“Last week, on less than three days’ notice, Mick stepped in against heavyweight champion Gustavo Trujillo while he was already traveling to Miami to promote BKB 60.”

“That is who he is. He came out of that fight with a cut that will not be healed in time for October, so we look forward to welcoming him back as a special guest,.”

Dy is the son of ex-WBC champ Rolando Navarrete, but Rolando Dy is carving out an impressive legacy in the world of gloveless combat. With a record of 6-1 and 5 knockouts, Dy has the notable distinction of being the first Filipino fighter to garner a BKB strap. Rolando Dy has secured notable statement victories against the likes of Robert Duran Jr., Liam Rees, and Paulie Malignaggi.

Scott McHugh has one of the deeper ledgers in BKB history with five world titles under the promotional banner, which has led to him becoming an inductee of the Bare Knuckle Hall of Fame. Boasting an extensive record, by bare-knuckle standards, of 17-5 with 7 knockouts, McHugh looks to extend his winning streak to six straight and capture a sixth belt in front of a partisan crowd here in the coming weeks.

BKB 60

In the penultimate fight of the night, some of the higher-ranked super middleweights in the company will clash, with Scotland-based combatant David Winiarski taking on Welsh warrior Keiron Harding. Both men have one hundred percent finishing rates, and this bout is a sequel clash that many have wanted to see in the wake of their ‘Fight of the Night’ garnering clash that transpired at BKB 49.

Also bolstering the event is ex-IBF world champ ‘JoJo’ Diaz Jr., who looks to go 2-0 inside the Mighty Trigon after an emphatic bare-knuckle debut at BKB 56 in Los Angeles. Plus, unbeaten super welterweight Adel Altamimi looks to go 4-0 with four knockouts after halting all of his foes inside the distance up until this juncture.
